A few take aways:

I think Ted KDP may have been my player of the game. He played with confidence. It was good to see that he was willing to take on players. Before the game, I said that Najar was the only player on this team with the ability/courage to take players on the dribble. KDP is proving me wrong. I like it!

If my math is correct, Benteke has now scored in two of the four games. It seems clear that he is a player that does not create goals for himself, and he needs good service. Klich provided good service and Benteke scored. Hopefully, he keeps it going.

We won't win many games conceding three goals. This may inappropriately simplify things. I understand that you have gamble when you are playing catch up and you risk being caught out on the counter, but still.

Agree with you guys that defensive organization and positioning were very poor at times. We failed to recognize and cope with overloads, among many other issues. Gotta work on that.

With these poor road performances, we really better get points in most of the home games.

 

Yeah, we need to get to that place of a Nashville or Redbull, etal, where they are decent teams but really hard to score against. Right now, it's much too easy, can't win in this league like that. Zeroes and Ones are the way. With 8 goals given so far, only Portland is worse at 10 and they just gave up 5 to early season juggernaut Atlanta.
