TRUMP-LAKE.....What a ticket!!! Donald Trump “is strongly considering picking a female running mate — and sees Kari Lake as a model for his vice-presidential pick,“ Axios reports. “Trump is already gaming out the general election in November 2024 — and knows he has a massive weakness with the white suburban women he would need to beat President Biden.”
Well, there cannot be 'reported cannibalism.' Everybody knows you eat the reporters and "snitches" first.
I was taught that the usual evidence of cannibalism was a human skeleton with a fork and knife left next to it.
Why do you think we never have digressions on how pineapple, while an abomination on pizza, is actually pretty good on . . . Ummmm. Those things we don't talk about.
No, no, no. We look for cut marks near the joints and for evidence of burned bone. It's hard to dismember and deflesh human bone without making cut marks - not that I have personal experience harvesting human remains or anything. On a related note, if you're staying in a remote tramping hut in New Zealand with someone who does forensic anthropology, never ever ask them questions about the Body Farm in Tennessee and if they've done things like that. You probably won't sleep very well. The less you know ...
I will safely assume his running mate will be the mythical JFK jr who is still alive and showing regularly at the QAnon events. What a ticket that will be. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has apparently launched a website to explore a 2024 presidential bid.
Not a grift AT ALL: https://www.teamkennedy.com/ A key metric for assessing the feasibility of running is the ability to sign up volunteers and raise funds. Please show your support for his run by texting Bobby at (202) 932-7525, and consider making a donation below.
This is going to be fun! Let se how Meatball Ron respond to the onslaught that will come at him. Politico: “Trump’s team and his allied PAC are preparing an expansive opposition research file by poring over DeSantis’ record as a prosecutor, member of Congress, and Florida governor.” “Among the items a Trump-allied group has drilled into is DeSantis’ record while serving as an assistant U.S. Attorney before running for congressional office, with plans to accuse him of being an ‘extremely lenient prosecutor’ in cases involving, among other things, child pornography.”
Why didn't Charlie Christ do this? Why didn't the criminal in 2018 do this? Democrats are extraordinarily bad at opposition research.

Too many Democratic operatives think campaigns are a contest of policy ideas between good-faith actors; and they behave accordingly. The people THEY know aren't interested in slinging dirt and unfair, sinister accusations (or at least they like to think they don't fall for that sort of stuff) so they project that onto the general electorate. Also--Democrats generally trust the MSM to report fair and accurately far too much.
I wonder about that, I mean the good faith part, still being true. The problem is how to combat that without addressing the falshoods, thus bringing them to some stage of legitimacy. It is a difficult thing to do. If this current election here in Wisc is any indication, the mud is being farmed out to PACs. True, though I've heard the beginning of a discussion amongst the media themselves that the need to focus more on factual reporting, and not to dismiss their own political leanings.
I have to say some of the attack ads on Daniel Kelly are pretty awful in Wisconsin. Dan Kelly is a terrible lawyer, terrible, terrible (former) Supreme Court Justice and, likely, terrible human being. However, attacking him because he was a criminal defense attorney is awful. Attack his shitting opinions. Attack him being a shill for the Republican Party (almost his entire income since being voted off the Supreme Court has been working for Republicans and Republican causes). Explain why his jurisprudence is so bad for everybody in Wisconsin. But going after him for being a defense attorney is a terrible strategy. Also, he never actually defended the sexual predator in the ads. I know they are trying to set up the "soft on crime" bullcrap, but it won't work.
I've had plenty of criticisms of her as a legislator--particularly earlier in her career--but there's no doubt she's got a lot to teach other Democrats on how the media game is played.
