I do wonder why JFA can't be promoted. Possibly the squad is too young, need to be accompanied by an adult for D1. Or maybe 'the JFA' need them in a lower division giving them more chance to win to get more money from parents. But yes Yamato Sylphid got promoted as 3rd placed in D2. Speranzas name seems to have been changed between 2021 and 2022.... Nittaidai or Nippon Sport Science University SMG Yokohama Nagoya
Yui Hasegawa's Man City is out of FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Aston Villa. #TaylorOut is getting more an more popular among fans.

I feel as if a draw would have been a fairer result, but football is seldom fair. Niigata should have made more of their opportunities in the first half. It was good to see Yuna Sonoda have a good game for Niigata and Yuina Yamamoto who came off the bench made some nice runs. Niigata look a lot better when Kamionabe starts. I hope Niigata do not become too despondant, because they did a lot of things right today. Hiroshima looked quite disjointed in the first half. He seemed to want Saihara to play as striker but drop deep when possible to link up with the defence. It means your supposed forward is constantly out of position. Hiroshima had a lot of trouble moving the ball into Niigata's half in the first half. However, they played much better in the second half and should be happy with their win. Yanase was once again everywhere and played very well. Ogawa started slow, but came into the game. I am really not sure about Soran Mori at left back; she seems to make too many passing errors for my liking. I think Shiota is a better option, or Matsubara. Hiroshima have a pretty good squad when you look at it. They have a lot of different attacking options to call on late in games. They probably should be doing better. I suspect their may be quite a few fringe players leaving in the summer.

It's interesting how some nations seem to have a lot of talent through the pipeline: we're going to see if this will end meaning anything on the next years of the women's football.
Hello everyone! A few things! 1) Thank you to everyone who contributes their opinion and shares their information about all leagues and players, for such a lazy people as myself to read )) 2) A quick question! Do you know what happens with Cerezo nowadays? I mean what do they do in this transitional season? In addition, do we have information about Cerezo stadium for WE League yet? 3) Quick unusual update about my connection to Japanese football, through the "Online Football Manager" perspective. As I mentioned before that I play some manager with Women's teams and I lately sold my Beleza team for a number of reasons but mostly because I achieved everything with them and I wanted a new challenge. So I bought Cerezo !! Guess how this forum helps me "Manager" wise (apart from my general interest in Japanese football) The latest bit of very helpful information was Kizaki's transfer to Beleza in real life. Once I saw it here first, I studied her statistic in real life and managed to "buy" her quite cheap "online" to my Cerezo )) Now I see that this gamble worked, as she started for Beleza every game, which means I would be able to get her upgraded online (based on real-life stats). And this is pretty much how it goes )) Sometimes you can get a lot of interesting and helpful information here which benefits me in more ways than one lol It was actually interesting to read about the Matsubara sisters, as guess what, they are in my squad in Cerezo as well. So it's quite an interesting connection between the forum and the online manager world )) p/s latest online transfer for my Cerezo Traded Maiko Hamano to Beleza for Fuka Nagano and Riko Ueki Traded Hinata Miyazawa to Beleza for Yamamoto, Fujino Aoba, Aemu Oyama. Traded Rina Yamashita and Miyu Yakata for Miyu Matsunaga, Yukina Sakabe, Sara Ito and Momoka Tanaka. Traded Yuka Anzai + some money for Yuzuho Shiokoshi Still have Honoka Hayashi and Reina Wakisaka on my roster, but unfortunately, Shinomi Koyama was sold before I got Cerezo (( Probably doesn't make too much sense what that means for some people, but I thought it would be an interesting random read for some )) p/p/s so any news about Cerezo stadium for WE League season? Thank you in advance ))
UEFA WCL's semifinal Roma-Barcelona about 20 minutes from now. Moeka Minami is starting. Meanwhile, Saki Kumagai just won the 1st leg of her quarter-final vs Arsenal with her Bayern by 1-0 (she was on the pitch for the whole match ).
Lots of defending from Bayern in the second half. Kumagai did her part. KUMAGAI pic.twitter.com/TvlUjkIUaP— ugh (@838_carlisle) March 21, 2023
@Twistal re Cerezo Not a team I follow so don't know so much about them. They have over the last 2-3 weeks played 4 friendly/exhibition/training matches March 4th Iga 1-6 Cerezo March 6th Cerezo 2-0 Speranza March 11th Cerezo 5-3 Ehime March 18th Viama 3-1 Cerezo They will be changing their name for the WE league from Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies to Cerezo Osaka Yanmar Ladies They will be in the 2023-24 WE League Cup starting late August
I believe that nothing is set in stone yet. But when they were in the Nadeshiko League they played at three different venues including Cerezo's main ground I assume Hina Inoue is in your Cerezo squad. She has been playing as a right back at Nojima and has actually been playing well, though she is injury prone. I am not sure about her as a defender. Going forward though, very good.
Inoue is still at the club, and nobody wants to buy her ) I got who I was able to get from Beleza. Hiwatari looks good same as Hijikata but I got too many forwards, so I picked Yamamoto (aka Julia Roberts), Fujino (stole her, considering how bright her future is), Ueki (probably the best CF at WE League). Sakabe and Matsunaga were created as a midfielders, so it's a plus ) I hope Cerezo will produce more youngsters, they seem like a club that relies on younger players a lot. Thnx for the info as usual. p/s Minami was okay against Barca today, even under such threat as Hansen and co. At least we got her and Kumagai as a solid pair. I demand to see Doko back at the NT as well !
Japan’s away kit for the 2023WWC was leaked. Definitely like it better than any NT uniform NIKE has release the past year. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/02/japan-2023-womens-world-cup-away-kit.html?m=1
