This isn't new news. Of all the companies I sent résumés to in the last 20 years, Google is the only one who sent a rejection letter.

 

I became a realtor because I was tired of having jobs for a year or year and a half and then getting downsized and having to reapply. So to hear people doing this kind of nonsense is enraging.
