They signed emergency CB and an emergency goalkeeper, how is that proof of squad depth? Sane and Gnabry were the reason the club reintroduced fines and penalties because of how much practice time they were missing out on. Their substitute striker is Choupo Moting of all people, we sign a guy like that and he's getting pelted with tomatoes and lighters at his presentation. People here don't really follow other clubs so Madrid is the worst thing by default.
In case you didn't notice it, Bayern had to make a transfer out of necessity because a guy nearly lost his leg while on a ski trip. This isn't some "oh, we had injuries and needed to improve the squad quick" thing, it was a "our guy could end up a cripple". Bayern went into the season without a striker if you really think about it. They sold Lewandowski and signed Mane. I'm tired of people throwing out dumb things just to say something. Our depth in attack is at least equal to their attack. And i'm being kind to Bayern here.
🥇🇮🇹 Yesterday’s win was Ancelotti’s 100th in La Liga. The Italian has the best win % out of any Real Madrid manager to achieve such feat. pic.twitter.com/67moQfKmrx— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) March 12, 2023
We’ve been blessed with a Carlo and Zidane 10 year period. That’s going to be impossible to replicate. Only Ryan Reynolds who went from Scarlett Jonahnson to Blake Lively can compare
Yup happens a lot, certainly don't follow other clubs as closely as we follow ours, which i suppose is normal, but judging how we operate against how others do sometimes isn't the best course to take.
And Real Madrid would have played players out of position to cover for those emergencies, and has given no indication of not doing so otherwise. Go figure.
both teams have been on a constant wave of matches between awful, to brilliant to mediocre, so we can't really know which real madrid or liverpool will show up. if you tell me it is impossible for them to score 5 goals against us, I would argue that it is possible, but that we will probably score a few of our own. I'm waiting for the CL real madrid, and mainly the Benz of CL to show up.
The fact that the season is coming to a moment of truth right now where everything is decided/developing within a few days/weeks is either great or catastrophic for us.
This is just my feeling based on the "leaks" in the media for the last 3 months but i think he wants to do the Brazilian NT job. It came out of nowhere to him. I don't know if its less BS involved with doing that job than it is at Madrid (media wise and federation wise) but i wouldn't be surprised if he wants the relative serenity of a NT job combined with a national team good enough to win titles. Specially now that he's come back to a top club and won the most prestigious trophy, again.
Seriously, it would make me start supporting our NT again. I love Carlo to death. Brazil needs someone with his expertise. Brazilian coaches are undergoing a major crisis now, and Portuguese coaches are simply dominating the market. I just don't know if Madrid can find someone as good as him at man-management.
No need to have a feeling. No coach has stayed while winning nothing with Perez. He is a goner if he doesn’t at least win the copa.
And that's unfortunate because then you get this, what we have now or are speculating on. A coach that is not fully committed or invested in the team who is distracted and daydreaming about his next job which is just as "prestigious" all because of an incredibly shortsighted human resources policy for employee retention. This is something we'll within Flo's control but is also a weakness, a penchant for chasing the current trendy flash in the pan over the more reliably proven but boring status quo figure.

Carlo is classy, but also stubborn and old fashioned. If it wasn't for the CL last year and where we are in the CL this year, he would get tossed out of the club on Monday and I seriously doubt he'll be in Madrid next year unless he brings another CL.
