Let’s hope there’s more sub appearances to come for a solid Bundesliga team.

Paxten again on the bench for the Pokal quarterfinal, joined by Chandler, with Pefok on the opposing bench.

Subs on in the 87th minute with a 2-0 lead, replacing Kolo Muani, who scored both goals. Hustle sub / get some minutes for him sub.

It’s great to see him get these types of minutes. The quotes from their dof or manager (I forget which) about taking things slowly when he signed made me think that he wouldn’t see much time this year. But minutes like this indicate that perhaps he is becoming one of their main attacking subs. They wouldn’t be giving him these minutes if he wasn’t doing things right in practice.

Yup every little bit of time is great to see. I had a feeling we would see Paxton before Clark with both players joining their new clubs in the Bundesliga around the same time.

The goal for Paxton for the rest of this season would be a few games with 20-30min with maybe 1-2 starts. Especially if they get out of the running for CL/Europa.

A 7 minute debut followed by an 87th minute cameo? It’s like he never left Philly!

Any minutes he gets this year is icing on the cake.

He's surprisingly in the game already. Came in as the 55th minute sub, w/ Eintracht down 1-0.

    Full-time. Eintracht level late.

Paxten played pretty well. Didn't do anything big, but made a lot of positive small to mid-level contributions. Mainly back-checked well to win a couple balls, linked up efficiently, played a decent ball in behind to the fb, & worked for halfway decent crosses or shot attempts. Could have earned another lengthier bench appearance. Integration coming quicker than I thought.

Color me surprised that Paxten could stay with the big boys. He was good against the ball, with the ball, off the ball. The only thing missing was a good opportunity to take a shot on goal to see if he can still finish at BL level. Next week.

Aaronson Bros. may become a thing.

I thought he was very involved in the attack.

I did not see the game, so I am kind of talking out of my ass here, but I do think it’s a bit of a mark on Curtin’s resume that he didn’t give PA more time last year. If he’s good enough to contribute this much in the Bundesliga now, then he could’ve done the same thing with the Union 6 months ago. There were so many games last year where they were up 3-0 in the 60th minute, and he would only get 5-10 minutes, if that.

I‘m usually more reserved with the calls for more time in most instances but agree fully with this. They had so many leads, many early, and he would rarely get a 20-30minute run. Did he? Nothing but respect for Curtain, but c‘mon man. Same for Sullivan. Lot‘s of opps for more without jeopardizing a damn thing. I get earning it, players should earn it, but never understood it last year.

If the coach/management likes Paxten, they'll like the performance. And they seem like they do.
