I would like to see CP try and cook with Felix more - I feel like they could develop a good understanding, but who knows.

Could be a good combo for Atletico Madrid next year.

I think CP, Felix, and Enzo could play well together if they are given a run.

These guys look for quick passes and go. Enzo had served up some nice passes into the box.

It also sounds like they are about to get Kante back. And a healthy Kante is a huge addition to the team.

Yes, but I think it would be unwise to count on him for much next season. He is a guy CFC might could sell for a fair amount although I am too lazy to look up his contract status. CFC appear to be taking a go young approach and Ngolo's best soccer is behind him even if he is still a force to be reckoned with when fit and in form.

Certainly if James is out, you'd like to at least have Kante back. But it's also strange that a team so dependent on wing FB attack has so much depth a AM slots and so few wingbacks.

When Potter's job's on the line, he'd also like some supportive comments from Christian.

when you have all that talent ... how to motivate them collectively to destroy each opponent.

I just don't see that at CFC at all.

    Glad Everton tied it.

People whining about Mudryk and Kanté. I can see the latter still being rusty, but the former? He must look lost in practice.

Puli was just ok IMO. It looks like everybody disagrees with me: for BigSoccer, he was awesome; for the rest of the world, he was terrible.

When you leave the game as an attacking winger with your team up 1-0, you had a goal called back for OS and the team ends up tied 2-2 with a relegation contestant, you're probably not really the story

Missed the game. How did our dude do today?
Saw he got replaced at the 62', probably didn't do too well?

He did fine. I suspect he was replaced bc he’s coming back from injury and is on limited minutes, not because of form.

Wrong. He played well. He was gassed - still working up to full 90 min fitness

the OS goal was nice despite the call back ....

    Pickford was clearly beaten

Felix did a nice no look pullback pass back to CP ....

and the shot was taken with his left foot ....

I didn’t see every minute he played, but I thought he was solid, but not really outstanding. A 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

still though, they were winning 1-0 with him playing, and lost 1-2 without him. He definitely was not the problem.

    Good to hear.

Yeah that makes sense, just coming back from injury; he might not be able to go full 90' yet.

Potter is getting a lot of heat in the media right now for his poor, coward, and amateurish game management.

Up 1-0 with 30 minutes to go and he decided to park the bus by bringing on an extra midfielder to go 3-5-2.

Then later, they were up 2-1 he decided again to pull off another attacker for a defender. He effectively ended the game with 9 defenders/midfielders and 1 attacker on the pitch at home against a relegation team.

    That is outrageous.

6.5 rating...Better than his last 2 outings...The offside goal that he scored added an extra point because of the left footed finish outside the box.

On the negative side, needs better awareness realizing when he's being crowned out in tight space so to get the ball off his feet quicker.

Overall, I thought Potter went defensive mode too soon...The Pulisic sub was 10 minute too early..
If Pulisic was gazed, Mudryk or Madueke would have been a better sub than Gallagher.
