yeah but he ran into Levy's locked wallet. they spent next to nothing while he built that stadium IIRC. which reminds me of something .... can't recall what ....
Richarlison complained that he's not being picked often enough by SPurs, moaning that "My season is shit". Conte responded today: “First of all, I watched the interview of Richarlison and he didn’t criticise me. He said: ‘My season is shit,’ and he is right. He scored zero goals with us [in the league], only two goals in the Champions League and I think the guy was really honest to tell that his season is not good." he really can't wait to get the hell out of London can he?
Manchester United fear they will not be able to sell England defender Harry Maguire, 30, this summer due to his wages, which are believed to be more than £200,000-a-week.
£200,000-a-week for Maquire , good grief! Reflective of some pretty desperate times at Old Trafford in recent years.
SevenHag moaning about today's red card: "Casemiro, across European games, over 500, he never had a red card but now, twice." oh do fukk off - he's 31, in a faster league than he's ever known, each week playing against teams that actually test him.
Can we criticize at the moment given our wage bill is amongst the largest in the world and we're absolute sh*te? Whatever we're paying VvD right now, he's not worth it on current form.
I'm pretty sure guys like Virgil on such high wages also brought us some huge trophies so money well spent. I don't think Utd can claim to have had the same success with Maquire anchoring their def. He's never been fit to polish Virgils boots.
VAR gives City one of the most blatant non-penalty penalties you'll ever see. UEFA is as bent as a dog's hind leg.
Yeah that was probably the weakest penalty call I've seen in a llllooooonnggg time...did the ball actually even brush his hand while he was up in the air for a header, with his back to the ball and the ball coming a foot off the head of the attacking player?...in other words, there was absolutely no intent, nor did it affect the flight of the ball or the play of the ball...but still, MC get their penalty to open the scoring... The second goal was certainly a good goal, but coming so soon after the PK, you wonder if it was more an after-affect... I fully expect MC to win this games, and most games, but their reliance on PKs is getting a bit out of hand...and the "drag the foot" - ("Jack Grealish special") fouls are just embarrassing...
Real Madrid (Spain) vs. Chelsea (England) SL Benfica (Portugal) vs. Inter Milan (Italy) Manchester City (England) vs. Bayern Munich (Germany) AC Milan (Italy) vs. Napoli (Italy) Double loss, Benfica, Bayern, Napoli
Napoli should win..... The others are hard to call. Can't believe I'll be rooting for fvcking Chelsea....
What's with these Italian teams in the CL Quarters? My choice - based solely on hope: Chelsea ... Benfica Bayern... Napoli Ugh - I've got this awful taste in my mouth... Benfica vs Napoli for the Final!
Newcastle beat Forest today 1-2, with a goal in extra time at the end of the first half...and a 93rd minute penalty...along with another goal wiped out after a VAR review... Newcastle move 5 points clear of us in the fifth spot... I wasn't able to watch the game, but it'll be interesting to watch the highlights tonight...
They sacked Patrick Viera on St Patricks Day. Really? https://www.espn.com/soccer/crystal...acked-by-palace-after-poor-premier-league-run
