Well he prefers the back 3 so I think he would've fit in nicely. Mancini scored a cracker yesterday but otherwise I'd prefer Tomiyasu over Mancini/Ibanez/Kumbulla on most days. And we'll need a Smalldini replacement eventually.

The sad things keep on coming. Subbed out after 9 min in EL.

He is unlucky, but also very injury prone.

He should find a team which properly plays him as a CB, not as a full-back anymore. It is clear that he prefers playing CB as it is more suitable for him.

Inter Milan have shown some interest. For a loan only though, which Arsenal doesn't want. They might want to sell it to compensate their expenses on the market this transfer window.

Mikel Arteta said official that Tomiyasu is one of the players who is "unselled" and that those rumours comes from nowhere. Thats the reason for now, Inter Milan doesnt get him.
He also said he is a important player which plays are important player role for the up coming season.

    So lets see and wait.

Tomi didn't get off the bench in the Community Shield. He might have to consider a loan move away if he doesn't get much of a run early on in the season. The Asia Cup is in January next year, would like to see Tomi getting regular minutes leading up to this tournament.

Inter Milan prepare a bid over 20 mio € for Tomiyasu. Looks like they go all in. Sounds good to me.

The game should change everything totaly today.

Looks like Timer heavily injured himself today. Sounds like he can be out for weeks/months. Tomiyasu came in after the 50th minute.

That can mean he has a starter place and I think from now on its very unlikely that he join Inter Milan.

    Thankfully.
After Blue Lock sponsorising Inter, I can't stand Tomiyasu move there to be constantly insulted ala Nagatomo.

But Zinchenko and Tierney are also there. Not sure if Zinchenko is injured, though.

From last season Guardiola already moved from "sideback with midfielder level skills" to start the trend "sideback with decent skills and physique of a CB". If Arteta (and a lot of top class managers) follows this trend, I'm not surprise if Tomiyasu will have his chance and the one to be dropped is Zinchenko.

He has some problems with Ayew but Arsenal is controlling the game and leading now.

And he is send off with to yellows in 7 Minutes. How much of bad luck could a guy have. The comentators said it was very hard and is normaly no card worth. Especially for english standards.

First yellow for throw in to slowly and then for minimal zipping the jersey of Ayew.
They critisize the referee for measuring 2 fouls with different rules cause Ayew was do the same but was harder some minutes ago against Saka and get no card.

But it was not clever by Tomiyasu in combination with Bad luck. It looks like he is overmotivated and need to get back into track to come down.
