I don't know, I often laugh out loud at what he says, given how ridiculous it is. Of course, I'm usually cringing at the same time.

OUR attendance is accurate. Can't speak about the rest of the league.

I can't really boast, as I haven't been to see a game since February 2020, and that was on the road (at Nashville). I'll be there again this April 29, if all goes well.

I hope the people who are silly enough to spend time watching Fox Business also make their investing decisions based on it.

"Deplorables" wasn't Hillary's mistake. It was "basket." There is no containing them...

I am so enjoying FOX legal troubles. Between Dominion & Smartmaric, the tis over $4B of damages. Even if a portion is agreed, they are going to bleed!

“As Rupert Murdoch’s Fox Corporation battles to contain the Dominion lawsuit scandal that has engulfed its top executives and stars, another crisis is building in the wings that has the potential to cause further turbulence for the media empire,” The Guardianreports.

“Smartmatic USA Corporation’s lawsuit against Fox News has attracted only a fraction of the attention garnered by the legal action of Dominion Voting Systems. Yet both firms are suing Fox for defamation related to its coverage of Donald Trump’s stolen-election lie, and both pose a serious threat to Fox’s finances and reputation.”

For what I hear Malice is going to be hard to prove.

Even if Dominion wins, they are probably not getting what they asked for.

    We will see.

I'm not sure where you are hearing that it'll be hard for Dominion to prove malice. Maybe you are misunderstanding what malice means in the legal sense. It doesn't necessarily mean they did it with the intent to harm.

    https://www.mtsu.edu/first-amendment/article/889/actual-malice

Based on analysis that I've seen from actual legal experts, Dominion has pretty much proven that Fox knew that what they were running with was false, but did it anyways. The only place that Dominion may run into issues is the "News" label part of Fox News's name. Fox is going to lean pretty hard into claiming that they were just reporting on the story and not actually propagating the lie. That may be hard as in previous lawsuits, Fox has claimed their talking heads are not news shows, but rather opinion shows, therefore, they should be held to the same standards as a news show.

The stuff I've heard is that this case is so "on the nose" that law professors wouldn't even propose this case as a case study of defamation in class, because it's too damn easy.

eh? This case is just about unprecedented in having the malice written down by the Fox execs

So while that is always the stumbling block, if ever there is a case where you have the proof of it, it is this one/

Right. The defence seems to be that if the President says it, it is news you can report on. And seeing these were the presidents surrogates, they can report it under 1A even if you know it is batshit
