Reading between the lines: you don't like black face because Republicans get called out for it and Democrats don't. In other words, it's not black face that you object to, it's that Republicans supposedly get called out for it more than Democrats.
Oh my wife was a theater chick, she embraced the “drag phenomenon” and gay culture in general a very long time ago. And on that note she just enjoys their performances, plus she digs RuPaul because he’s a really smart funny guy. That is cool though that you’re so concerned about men encroaching on women’s lives in that particular way, I’ve never actually met a woman who’s concerned about such things so good on you to carry that burden for them.
You guys aren't going to convince him. At the very least, he has Lewandowski (Incredibly dismal on the world stage though) and he got to see a Polish pope, that should provide him some consolation.
I’m just taking him at his word in that regard. Which yes, may be a mistake, but that’s what I was going by. But regardless I doubt (hopefully) that he’s the kind of guy who would take up arms in the name of his Trumpian god-king.
I’m just trying to have a free conversation and not carrying anyone’s burden if women themselves don’t see or don’t care what is happening, there will be nothing I could do to help them https://people.com/sports/surfer-be...inst-new-policy-accommodating-trans-athletes/
Bullshit. Either you ignorantly don't know the difference between a drag queen and transgender, or you are deliberately conflating the two so that you can talk about a subject that you KNOW is not allowed here.
You really have no understanding of people not like you. We hade a multipage discussion on changing education. But you clearly don't understand education. In fact, you don't understand people. You seem to think transgender people are transgender by choice. They are not. Black face, lynching, what's the difference? Your boy called for the lynching (death penalty) of the Central Park 5, and has not withdrawn that position. You still voted for him twice. Yet, you are trying to argue something about blackface? No, we all read the lines, and we read between the lines. How brave of you to assume women don't have their own voice. Or that they care as much as you do. (Free) speech is not an absolute. There are always limits on speech, even in the most liberal democracies. And we are right up there in that regard, probably near the top, considering all the hate speech we allow.
Obama used to say, I could work the rope as well as anybody but I have finished over crowd and Joe is still halfway through shaking hands. Also Jon tester is what I would exactly picture of Montana rancher named Big Jon to look like. Is there any way that those can hold on to the seed or is he pretty much a plain States Manchin, without the drama.
Weird how that has morphed into now proposed laws for people under 21, and now 26, as I pointed out. See the thing is, if you give bigots an inch, they'll take a mile until they get the total ban. I mean, understand why conservatives hate trans folks, but I don't think they do This doesn't happen I accept your surrender. Others will burn this strawman down, I don't need to exact another pound of flesh... To tell the truth, somedays I think you're a performative troll, other days a useful idiot, but it's just as the Emperor of Mankind said... Blessed is the mind, too small for thought
Since I listened to Sarah Longwell's recent podcast where she interviews actual 2 time Trump voters about Trump and Rhonda I think there is no point engaging with these people. The interviews are quite fascinating. They think Trump is the only authentic one who does what he says he is going to do. The ones who have gone to Rhonda have done so because they realise too many other Americans don't like Trump, so he can't win. That's it. They still love him. The people who can be reasoned with are the 5-10% who are swing voters or never trump conservatives - like the 8% of registered republicans in Maricopa County who voted for Katie Hobbs.
And then Biden was able to get Congress to pass the Compassion for Outdoors and the Wilderness Act which had a provision to heal said cow through expanded rural veterinary medicine funding.
For as much as we talk about the Reps, the absolute 30% of Trump, and the likely Rep swing vote, I'd like to know how that looks on the Dem side.
