Three Americans on the field at Old Trafford against Manchester United right now in the Premier League. 🇺🇸— Alex Calabrese (@amcalabrese12) February 8, 2023 Oh man... 1623434708825800707 is not a valid tweet id
And just like that 2-2. Leeds center backs still suck. If they survive they gotta bring in another body. Badly.
well so much for that... Sancho with the equaliser. Crazy pressure at the Stretford End. Leeds can't withstand it and Sancho smashes in. 2-2 on 71 mins. #lufc— Phil Hay (@PhilHay_) February 8, 2023 The transfer window is closed??
Summer I meant. Was adamant they needed a second quality center half this window. No idea where they got the idea they were solid there. Cooper is not a premier league player
2-2. Nice away point but should been a W. That’s snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. McKinnie made an instant impact. hopefully that’ll give them the confidence that they can beat these guys at Elland road
He’s able to put attackers off with his strength and boxes out as much as he can. So he’s not a zero defending set pieces, but yeah he’s below average at the highest levels. He’s a good depth/rotational piece for now imo, but if he’s starting in 2026, a few more talented players probably had their careers stall.
He looked like he was in a good deal of pain. Slightly below Christian Pulisic and his Golden Balls level OT: Top Gun was a homosexual romance ahead of its time and I will stand on that mountain til the end of time defending that.
I've never liked Trusty BUT 1) he deserves a shot early on 2) he may have improved in Ch/ship (I don't watch) and continue improving with age as is common for cb's 3) most importantly he is left footed and I don't think we have another left footer other than Ream and Brooks. What better time to see him than @ Grenada in March? I'd go 3 in the back with Paredes at lwb and Arriola as rwb. Paredes and Arriola can both score goals.
Granada in March? No kidding......might be tempted to go watch that one in person if a friendly. Eyeballing second home territory and this city is on my level. Trending to Granada CF supporter status here, and might have to by default. If you guys have the opportunity, Granada is a BAD ASS city. It and Cordoba, which is super underrated. Great culture, great food, and hate to be well.....inappropriate, but well above average women....
crowds were questionable.....I was shocked how crowded it was in January. Jaw dropping. Especially at Alhambra. Gorgeous, phenomenal history. But my God, I am not sure I would go to Spain in the summer. I can handle crowds pretty well but jesus christ.......I dunno if it was COVID revenge travelling but it was a mosh pit up there at the Alhambra. Everything else was nice, especially the food, but my God. I was not expecting the crowds, especially in winter. Ive never experienced that, even in Prague, Paris, or London. If your crowd-phoebic, and to a degree I am, Id actually point you to Cordoba. My wife actually prefers it. If we go there instead.......I wouldnt be surprised at all. My ultimatum there would be a swimming pool and air conditioning that can suck in seagulls from Barcelona.
The US is playing in the country of Grenada..... Not in the city of Granada.. Though it may be on the Granada TV channel Prague is great though!
Tomato-potato as the kids say. And Prague in my youthful years...... well, we will not go there. To be half black in such a place was both a blessing and a curse.
Interesting. We're planning on moving to Europe and Spain is on our short list of places to split time/residence.
Dabble with Andalusia, phenomental value. Granted, seems we are both weird. Everyone gravitates towards the coast like Malaga, Valencia, etc. Maybe its the history bug in me. Im trying to make a strong Granada case. But wife always wins. Cordoba is a BARGAIN in the real estate world, and frankly I loved it. Im actually trying to find out what the catch is. Europeans are all "45C heat" but Im like, biiiiitcch pleaaaase. ***so long as I have AC. Epic disclaimer. AC needs to be a fuggin champ. Ill take the Renfre bullet train to Malaga just fine if I got that.
The GK is killing them. Paul Carr tweeted that his numbers figured that average shot stopping would have been worth 3-5 points to Leeds before this match. The second goal should have been an unremarkable save,
I was weighing in that……. I did not want to be harsh thinking that was an “easy” save, but let’s be honest, Turner sleep walks into that save
Musah's club is a total mess. Valencia: Former La Liga winners and Champions League finalists in turmoil - BBC Sport "The squad is getting weaker every season, and taking everything into account… relegation is inevitable. It will happen eventually, even if not this season."
Good thread on Luca de la Torre's match vs. Real Betis (a top third La Liga team recently) and how he was very good at scanning the field and finding pockets of space centrally to receive/advance the ball. https://t.co/3kjfhY0Ncs— Daniel (@DanielSmith1022) February 9, 2023
That's one of those scenario's where the league needs to make a move on the owner when the NBA finally did on Sterling 20 years late, and the NFL did on the down low with Snyder this past year. Eject his ---. He clearly has no interest in the reputation of the league or the team itself, it's purely a piece of Jewelry for them. Hopefully they can find a way to get rid of Lim.
I'd guess that in leagues with relegation there's no need to do that because if he keeps it up his team will get relegated and they will no longer be a problem. They'd probably like to keep a team in a big city with lots of history but we see what happens when you start goosing the system (Mexico) and it isn't a good look.
