The way he did it if it is a hamstring I think it's probably not that bad, he did it kind of twisting for a pass not really stretching or sprinting which is usually the worse tears. He felt it and jogged a little then just stopped, so those signs have me hopeful it's just a tweak and won't be too long.
So Marcelo Gallardo is linked to the Leeds job. He would love Sinisterra but not sure on the Americans
He'd be amazing. They've also been linked with Feyenoord's Arne Slot - who would be great and loves Sini.
nice, yes. Any dutch league manager would be ideal as they would value him and put up more with his injuries
It honestly amazes me that you can be in a relegation battle and fire the coach before having someone lined up. Marsch wasn't doing amazing, but this isn't ideal. Heard they were after the just fired Ajax coach who did a real miserable job so hopefully its not him, Bielsa would be great.
They were about to sign that guy and the owner stepped in and was like STOP, what are you clowns doing and put the guy on a plain back to Schipol!
Javi Gracia, at Elland Road this morning to complete his appointment as new head coach of Leeds United ⚪️🇪🇸🤝🏻 #LUFCAgreement set to be announced — it will be valid until the end of the season if all goes to plan. pic.twitter.com/itsOHrFJCI— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) February 21, 2023
Who they are bringing in from Qatar. This is their fourth or fifth choice and the core issue is that theyve kept losing since firing Marsch. It was terribly managed and they've manufactured the situation they set out to avoid. And annoyingly, Sini has been injured the whole time. He'd make a massive difference if he can get back on field though who knows what this guy's new scheme will look like.
Gracia has experience at a high level managing Watford in the EPL and Valencia. I thought he was pretty good when I saw his teams play in the past so hopeful he can be a good fit. But agree this was handled terribly, the loss to Everton is a big big issue and its crazy to me they would be this ill prepared in the heat of a relegation battle that's gotten worse. To be honest I thought they were really good in the United games and unlucky to lose both, there are a ton of teams in the fight and the margins are paper thin and they need to pick up points against the teams close to them or the pressure will just keep mounting.
I definitely remember this Gracia guy, he's managed loads of top division spanish teams but I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about his style
Still injured but they won Gracia's first game today, which is huge and gets them out of relegation momentarily. Hopefully Sini is back soon and can help get Leeds to safety.
Why even bother with such a late sub? They seem completely pointless unless the player is getting 10 minutes at the very least of play time.
