Juventus have won the Italian championship 36 times and the European cup twice, but "not a superclub like PSG" who have barely won anything in their entire history!?

    Come on, dude!

Ok I forgot to add Juve my man, you have a fair point they too are a Super Club, and I would even put PSG in the very good club category, but you need to win a few more UCL titles, to be considered a super club. Juve has the pedigree, and one down season won't erase all of that. Napoli is just having a magical season.

  3. Juventus has been humiliated 3 years in a row in the CL.
The Napoli result isnot an incident, it's part of a pattern. The pattern of gone glory days.

After taking some time to think about Juve's rich history, being the flagship Italian team, qualifies Juve as a super team. The list is short most leagues will have one or two teams, minus England where you can put Man U(perhaps not now but they have the history), Liverpool, Arsenal, City, and Chelsea. This is coming from an Arsenal "Supporter." I only call myself a Bayern fan and that is it.
In the EPL in Alphabetical order
    1- Arsenal
    2- Chelsea
    3- Liverpool
    4- Man City
    5- Man U

In the Bndesliga, that is a no brainer, it's Bayern Munchen aka FC Bayern aka Bayern Munich by 1,000 kilometers. We will get to Dortmund later

In Spain, Madrid and yes, they are still a super team, you got to consider overall history). An established super team can have the benefit of the doubt and a couple of down seasons. Of course, this is assuming Barce does not go bankrupt or change ownership, within the next few seasons.

In Siera A, another no brainer now that I thought about it, JUVE(see Bayern Munich)

In France league 1 the new guy's PSG. Not that PSG is a new team, but they have not done this well in the UEFA CL. They are a force with their three killers in Neymar, Messi, and Kyllian Mbappe.

    That makes it 10 teams.

If I did not mention your team like AS Roma, AC Milan, Athletico Madrid, Dortmund, (i told you we will get to you guys later)
you club is in the next category, the very good teams but not a super team. The difference is those teams have deeper pockets. I believe Dortmund is just outside of the top 10 but Bayern is in the top 4 so that is why you see Bayern buying Dortmund players, all the time. Dortmund is like a mini farm system for Bayern.

We have to have the cutoff at somewhere so I will say 10 teams.
Question, in a couple of years what team could be in the top 10, and what team could be replaced?

Football regulator: UK government confirms new independent body
    By Jonathan JurejkoBBC Sport
Blocking clubs from joining a breakaway European Super League will be among the powers held by English football's new independent regulator.

The plan for a regulator, recommended by a fan-led review last year, has been confirmed by the UK government.

Preventing historic clubs going out of business is one of the aims, as well as giving fans greater input and a new owners' and directors' test.

The significant move aims to protect English football's cultural heritage.

    When
    • Format knock only = clubs not enter it.
    • Format league only = fans no watch it.

When format group stage + plus knock out rounds = clubs enter it + fans watch it.

Hence Why the UEFA Champions League is both league and knockout format, the only format that works!
    Simple as that!

There will be a European Super League in part of Europe but not the whole of Europe as this is how Europe will politically look after 2050.

I think a European Super League should have multiple divisions with relegation and promotion.
I would want Glasgow Rangers, Glasgow Celtic, Aberdeen, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Dundee United, Motherwell, and Dundee to join the European Super League if it happened.
There needs to be open promotion and relegation in a European Super League.
The top two divisions continental. Then regional leagues below that.
    Merci.

The European Court of Justice will deliver its final verdict on the validity of the European Super League on 21 December.

It had been claimed by the ESL and its backers, A22, that Uefa and Fifa were breaking competition law by threatening to sanction clubs and players who joined the breakaway league.

But in a report released last December the ECJ said the rules of football's European and world governing bodies were "compatible with EU competition law".

A final outcome was expected from the ECJ's 15-strong Grand Chamber in the spring but this did not materialise.

The ruling in December will be a binding interpretation of European Union law, and once handed down, the case will then be referred back to the Madrid commercial court that will apply it to the facts of the Super League case.
