Beilingham ofcourse him or nothing i dont see another player with the same level that we need on the other case i said in the summer about the ST that we need a backup and still we didnt loan one.
We just need a sensible back up attacking option. Someone like Alvarez for the €20m City bought him for would have been nice.
❗️Real Madrid’s balance issues:Opponents have created 72% of their attack’s down Real Madrid’s right side in La Liga this season. @LaLigaTV— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) February 6, 2023 Real Madrid management: No RB will be signed in the summer.
Mario C has been pretty inconsistent with this stories in the past, so not sure we can give this report much credence.
we have to take advantage of Citys/Juventus problems.....Haaland and Chiesa will be an amazing summer but of course we will do nothng.
He’s not wrong I don’t think. The financial muscle of City is unbeatable, and when that much money is thrown around then surely they are favourites.
If true, then that's our Plan A, B, C and D out of the window. "We have the best squad in the world already..."
Doesn’t necessarily mean he will choose them though. I just wish there was a legit RW target for us to go after.
I know you know better than this, the people than run our club aren't as stupid as some of us make them out to be just because they don't do what we want them to do every min of everyday, no matter what we do we are not going to win every trophy every year. We have been on a good strong run and we are still competing, despite "how" not being to everyone's liking we've brought many quality young players already to refurbish our team and i believe we will continue to do so when we can. We aren't the only ones competing for talent but at this moment i trust our management team including Calafat JS and Flo over any poster on here who thinks they have all the solutions, there's a reason why they've run the biggest club in the world well for years and we just ........post
There is absolutely ZERO chance that City will be punished effectively to either; force them to sell players, or make players demand to leave for sporting reasons. They will still be able to Hoover up whomever they want (Bellingham, Gvardiol, whatever) and spend whatever they want on wages and transfers. Speculating anything different is pure fantasy and wishful thinking.
Fair enough, and you do know me well. I must say that I have actually been impressed by the club making moves for players that were wanted by the biggest clubs in Europe over the last 2 years. Howcer, in saying that, I don’t believe it is enough and we haven’t moved quick enough to address some issues in key spots.
So apparently Carlo has asked for a backup ST several times this season and got told no everytime. So I have to wonder, what's the plan? Is there anyone in particular we are waiting for in 2023? Or are we really gonna wait for Endrick to hit legal age and come to Europe and hit the ground running? If so that has to be the most hilarious bit of planning I have ever seen. We are going to waste 2 seasons waiting for Endrick, and then waste our 60m investment by throwing him into the fire immediately.
Well it appears that a BigSoccer poster who goes by the name "OMM13" and several others weren't blinded by results and accurately predicted how this season would play out. Some even offered a lot of cheap options to fix our issues that wouldn't have had any effect on our finances. You don't actually have to wait for disaster to strike, usually you can spot the warning signs a mile away. JAS really looked at the team sheet and said " Yeah we don't need another striker. Benzema (35) is going to play every game in 6 competitions + a mid season WC and be at full fitness and top form like always. And if something unfortunate happens, we have Mariano Diaz and Eden Hazard! I don't understand Carlo's frustration. I think we're well covered in that position"
Or JAS lookes at the team sheet and said "shit, we probrably aint winning anything this season unless we reinforce with at least semidecent players who might very well end up in the same boat as mariano and hazard and then we have them until their contracts run out. I think, considering we just won la liga and CL, we dont need to shoot for the stars and should probrably wait a season or two before we go crazy. We will still probrably make at least Quartes of the CL and contend for la liga. Mean while we build raport with our main targets and wish they actually sign with us and dont pull another mpabbe on us". I highly believe that if we had not won the CL and la liga last season we would have reinforced this summer in a much more aggresive way. I also thjnk if we somehow win la liga or CL we wont be reinforcing much and viceversa. Or im just crazy and Florentino really has lost his touch. But I believe in him, JAS and Calafat to the fullest.
What a horrible excuse. You think it's ok to just throw the season away, with no resistance at all, just because there is a possibility that a signing might flop? QUOTE="RMadrid2222, post: 41169819, member: 363774"]we reinforce with at least semidecent players who might very well end up in the same boat as mariano and hazard and then we have them until their contracts run out.[/QUOTE] Once again pretending that every transfer has to be a high wage signing on a 5 year deal. Ever heard of a stop gap? Adebayor/Chicharito? We would have had at least 5 more points by now from games like Sociedad, Osasuna, Mallorca, etc had we signed a semi-decent striker like Dzeko, Juanmi, Morales or even Luuk de Jong on a 1 year deal. Someone to bring on in the last 15 mins and spam crosses to when you desperately need a goal. Top clubs do that all the time. Choupo Moting at Bayern, Kean at PSG, Luuk de Jong at Barca, Weghorst at Man Utd, etc.
Hey, we don't need a backup striker. Just look at what other clubs have. Gimme a break. Real Madrid isn't just another club.
