Hopefully it was things a player needs essentially that Pineda didn't get. Funds for hospital visits for example. Now what he's earning as a player he could work something out with the club by earning what they want him to for one season and 2nd season earn what he wants to earn, and going with a 2 year contract with option for renewal. The club could get more affordable options top players in the 3rd division in Brazil (About the same level of futbol in El Salvador), which wouldn't be a loss to the club if he didn't sign.
I believe it leans more to poor performance. In all honesty I was surprised that he even went abroad in the first place seeing that the only bit of action he ever got for the senior squad was as a super late sub against Mexico.
In other news Larin has joined with Alianza ending his journey abroad. Now the only one left to see where he ends up is Tamacas.

While it is second division, Kevin has been one of the constants to stay abroad. It’s a bit tiresome seeing how some of these guys don’t even wanna try
One of the responses on twitter to one of the talking heads I follow made mention how clubs are looking more at athletes in addition to footballers and I am in agreement. You can’t get away with just being a “talented footballer” like back then and as we’ve seen fitness, nutrition has never been an avenue Salvadoran football utilizes. They are making a big deal about Fito getting in shape that’s how bad things are.

Actually in a sad realization just about all the Salvadoran players are journeymen at least in the local league… As for abroad no one comes close to Lester. Let’s see so far he has played on 11 clubs abroad you can argue 12 since Kongsvinger did send him to the B side to try and get him acclimated to playing in Norway. Also haha someone must read this thread because his newest club wasn’t listed prior.
Kevin on the other hand has gone abroad on six occasions to five different clubs (Suchitepequez being the repeat.) so not as well traveled as Lester. Not to mention that Kevin had to put his career on hold due to being suspended for “doping” during his stint in Municipal. So Kevin hits lucky seven to club #6 hopefully it works out.
Unfortunately there's not enough talent to play in 1st division club in Europe or South American without being benched most the season. Not even in the J-League, K-League, or Saudi League can they get any solid interest.
