Interesting. I had a different opinion. I watched the Quakes profile before I watched any of the others and I thought it was good but short. I have zero idea who P-lo is but I assume he was the poet or rapper who appeared for a few seconds towards the end of the video. I actually thought his inclusion did not match the tone of the rest of the video but no big deal to me. Since then I've watched a few more club profiles and I would say the Quakes are about average. Galaxy doesn't even have a video (the last I checked). FC Dallas' video was pretty good but I thought it was more of a tribute to Lamar Hunt than about FC Dallas. None the less I think I like this one the best of what I've seen. LAFC's video is like a full Hollywood production and IMHO is way too long. They give too much detail on specific games that they played but they've only been a club for like 5 years. So over time this video isn't going to age well. RSL is by far the worst of those who submitted a video. It's a minute long and gives no details. They say they have a great history and have had great players but doesn't back that up with any details at all. They do show the faces of some of the players I presume were great but I didn't know who they are and I still don't know who they are.
I just went back and watched it again and maybe a D+ is an appropriate grade. The first time I watched it I thought the tone of the second half of the video doesn't match the tone of the first half. The second time I watched it this tonal change was even more obvious. The first half of the video is old clips spliced together that would probably only make sense to someone who already knows the history of the club. Then the second half is a rap music video that is clearly just a promo for the 2023 season. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn the second half was actually a 2023 promo and they just killed two birds with one stone by using the same video for both. If I'm going to criticize LAFC's video for not going to age well then the Quakes video is even worse - it's literally promoting the 2023 season. I think the Quakes will need to make a new video next year or just hope this gets buried so deep nobody sees it.
Let me try explain BeerKing in a few words: Fire Good! Meat Good! Women Good! Beer Good! Technology Bad, it confuses and infuriates us.
There’s something to be said for keeping it simple. A little worried about the “Fire Good” thing though .
It looks like they recently added the same picture of a generic soccer game to both games, pictures that have no distinguishing feature of either Levi’s Stadium or Stanford Stadium. On the other hand, I’ve also noticed that while some of our home games have pictures of the open-end of PayPal Park showing, others have pictures of the closed-end. Again, very nice attention to detail! GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
"Nearly 20% of US households have over 3 Apple devices" (World Soccer Talk - Sunday, 2/5/23) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
No. That is not what the article says. It rates any household with 3 or more Apple devices as Apple Loyalists. 55% of households have 1 or 2 Apple devices. Still 45% do not. But an Apple device is not needed to watch MLS. A Web browser on your laptop/desktop will work or the Apple TV app on your Smart TV will work too.

Pretty sure that now completes the English, Spanish, and sometimes French for every game at every stadium. Missing a few names I was hoping would be there and has plenty of names I've never heard of but it doesn't seem like it's going to be terrible.
Bay Area’s own Maximiliano Cordaro will be joining the Apple TV team! Max covered the #Quakes74 and other Bay Area teams for Telemundo. Congratulations my friend! https://t.co/VCFEHjtLZU— Favian Renkel (@FavianRenkel) February 8, 2023 GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I'm also still curious to hear the local radio broadcast - this might be what I end up doing for the Quakes games. I doubt KNBR has much budget to hire more announcers but I wonder if Danger and Anthony would make a special guest appearance on the radio sometime?

I could be wrong, but I thought the Quakes paid the radio station in order to have the games broadcasted. Then ad revenue from commercials (sold by Quake's sales department) went to the Quakes not the station. It’s not that uncommon in broadcasting, I think it’s referred to as “block programming” (similar to an infomercial). Doubt the Quakes made any money from the radio broadcasts. Hope I’m wrong and if anyone has more info on this subject let me know.
