I'm surprised he hasn't already....either that or he'll get a lifeline from MK Dons to return back to his home.

Such a waste of a talent.

Harry Winks is finally back from injury and on the bench for Sampdoria today against Napoli.

Joe Bursik moving to Club Brugge. Not sure I understand the move from his perspective because Mignolet is pretty much locked as their #1 but maybe Parker likes him, we'll see.

Difficult to say as he's often been injured. Staying a bit longer in the Eredivisie wouldn't be bad for his development imo. Particularly as Chelsea don't seem that stable at the moment.

I noticed Charlie Webster has been linked with a move in the opposite direction.

Could probably do with a spell in the Bundesliga before coming to the Premier League.

The fee is relatively low in the context of the modern game but you would've thought that Chelsea would be cautious of signing a player with his injury record given their current issues and Fofana in particular.

  7. I'm a fan of Madueke. I see so much Robben in his play that I believe he's going to be a game changer for your national team in the future.
However given the physical demand the epl puts on players my thoughts are he should at least spend another year in the Eredivisie.
First to develop his tactical awareness to top level (Reiss Nelson had comments on that from his experience at Feyenoord) and second to gain and sustain physical strength before going into the epl. He has to play a season without serious injury to be able to develop physically to epl standard.

Have to say if I had a decent head on my shoulders I wouldn’t touch Chelsea with a barge pole at the moment. Not because of their travails on the pitch as all teams are entitled to a rough patch, but due to the way they are being run. They are signing about 100 players every window and if you are a young and need games to develop, I struggle to see where the consistent game time will come from.

Lille v Rennes might be worth a watch if you haven’t got anything else on tonight. Spence makes his debut for Rennes while Gomes starts ( as usual these days ) for Lille.

Jarrad Branthwaite has bagged two goals for PSV tonight and is quietly going under the radar at PSV having broken into their side post world cup. Getting very good reports out there and he's an interesting prospect for England, 2002 born so still eligible for the next under 21 cycle. PSV reportedly want to keep him permanently though I suspect they'll be priced out
