It seems like bad luck to me but when I think back to the way RBL struggled under Jesse it seems eerily similar... outplaying their opponents... far more shots on goal... can't get it into the net and the opponent coming up with wonder strikes all over the place. It is a real head-scratcher to me. How often can I watch Leeds dominate the ball/chances but find themselves behind in the game. Just brutal. Unless something changes quickly it certainly looks like Leeds is "destined" to be relegated. Just seem snake-bit.

Man, the number of times I’ve hated Navas in my soccer watching life… it’s like the evil villain in some bad movie who just climbed out of his grave for one last crime spree…

It’s frustrating how consistent and mistake free the guy is. Hopefully I’m jinxing him right now.

Man, Leeds are so lucky to have Adams. He’s so flipping good.

Edit: Would love to see an all touches video from this one.

Ill say it: Leeds ain’t good enough to slow play the integration of a player as talented as McKennie

Leeds needs to release gnoto closer to goal. He’s quicker than his defenders. Play him thru the seam. Mck sighting

Is there a decent sub to come if for Struyk? Guy is just not at the races today and needs to sit.

The irony with Leeds is Jesse wants to play narrow but he doesn’t have a #10 or an equivalent interior creator to really make that approach tick. Leeds is a team with about 3 or 4 more wingers and at least 1or 2 fewer interior creators than they really need.

I was nervous-excited for this match because it must be said again, this is the highest quality squad Marsch has had at Leeds, but ugh! same old Leeds (smdh)

Nottingham Forest are totally CONCACAFING this match, and the refs seem happy to help them.

I might chicken out on the rest of the match (because I can’t take another Leeds loss) and just watch goal zone later to see how this ended.

This is the real reason they signed Navas.

McKennie doesn’t remotely look up to the pace

Yup, that is what I feared. He will acclimate, but right now he think he has way more time on the ball than he does.
The Prem is different, even vs weaker sides

Well, Forest brought on Coleback and Aurier. So they are really trying to smother the match now.

Wes' passing looks like hot garbage early. Not seeing the field. Caught in possession, or bad passing choice - then chase for the ball. It's a more extreme version of what we see for the USMNT.

I certainly feel bad for any neutral that stumbled upon this match, it is indeed hot garbage

Honestly even Rutter is such a weird signing. He is a smaller, second striker type with great dribbling stats. The complete opposite of what I feel Leeds need. Leeds need a better Bamford type to actually hold up the ball and provide a real outlet for all their aimless long balls.

(I reserve the right to retract this statement when Rutter scores in the next few minutes)

Eh - he was off at first but he’s adjusting.

Harrison has been crap. Gnonto looks spent.

Harrison is great for a couple games and then takes the next 8 off

Were I still playing I’d be punching my goal keeper for punching shit like that.
