Personally I’d move Asensio to a false 9 to create a bit more space behind and Rodrygo to the right. Then we have two options left and right to get in behind. I think Rodrygo is better at unlocking a defence out wide.
What a low block does is limit space around the box. The only ways to find spaces for chances is to disorganize the block, that is by beating a defender and forcing another defender to come out of position. So we need dribbles to disorganize, but they need to be successful Otherwise the only spaces available will be long shots or cross attempts at headers. And we’re not good at that. So you say it’s not, then what is? What would be your plan?
