Yeah, we're Colombia so that's definitely a possibility. I liked the way they played today. Cabezas has definitely earned the starting spot. Caraballo and Zuleta are not up to the task. Zuleta y Caraballo son de madera.
Nestor Lorenzo and Perea are at the stadium wtf is wrong with Salazar, why the hell would you slip and fall for no reason when you're about to pass the ball.
castilla in . can we hold on to possession, attack, and stop defending like herbs? oh god, mina is in..
watching these ad boards at the stadium make me feel like im watching a game from 2004. Most stadium adboards now are digital
Fuentes' technical qualities are evident. Unfortunately the guy he passed it to took a donkey's touch and blew it instantly
they need to stop committing these types of fouls close to our goal. we always end up paying for that.
that's how you need to shoot, no constant dribbling, don't hold on to it for 20 seconds, just shoot and good things happen
Good response after that loss to Uruguay. I am expecting something similiar against Ecaudor next and hopefully our match against Brazil after that will be an improvement in that rematch.
This team might not be perfect, but they got tenacity. Great bounce back after that loss to Uruguay. Cabezas and Manyoma were having poor tournaments, but they showed all their quality tonight. Monsalve hasn't done a thing since the first match, but he came up big with an assist today. Torres was awful in the first game against Paraguay, but he beasted the midfield this time around.
Glad they are clicking late on beat Ecuador and Venezuela and it’s WC time. Beat Brazil and hope Uruguay drop points then maybe champions. We played badly that game but a 1-0 isn’t impossible to over come.
Cabezas had limited minutes before this and obviously doesnt have the confidence of his coach. Even so, there's a huge quality difference between him and Caraballo. Like it's not even close. First touch, hold up play, passing, and going toward goal. My biggest gripe with Caraballo is his stance (for a striker) always has his back to the net and never runs into the space. Hence, when he gets that 1st pass it was always a tap or 5-10 yard pass in the opposite direction. He just didnt want to shoot or even try to hold the ball for more than 1-2 seconds. Never uses his big body or his speed. So this is all on the coach and his stubbornness to not play the best striker he can. Really don't want to see Mina for Ocampos vs Ecuador. They will attack Colombia thru that flank all day. Hope Luna can see some minutes. Lastly, Marquinez has been pretty solid in the back. Not perfect but I really like his positioning. Still too early to see how he'll develop but I think with him and Mier, we have a good generation of GK on the rise.
