Can't remove him, they need Puli to sign an extension so they can get those sweet $30m+ Newcastle bucks.

Boehly has spent what, $300M+ already? $30M is a maintenance fee.

this tells me Potter and Boehly are all about younger talent (under 27) …..

Kante, Jorginho, Auba and others - I wonder when they go for the replacement for Silva …. Ziyech would have been gone but now he is just another in the stable of thoroughbreds. As Potter said - not everyone will be happy.

this tracks with a Boehly long term outlook.

Would not assume Pulisic is going anywhere

And I would think Slonina is one of their long term bets.

could be that for 4 attacking slots Potter wants 8 world class players … and yes I count Pulisic in that cohort.

injuries among those 8 is a virtual certainty.

Again, they were required to invest heavily in the club as part of the purchase agreement. Bringing in young guys on long contracts is a way to recoup some of that required investment back at some point.

    Don't matter.

By the time Pulisic comes back from injury, Chelsea would have already been knocked out of the CL.

Pulisic will be one of their best options for some sale proceeds in FFP terms this summer among people they might be willing to see leave.

The squad is way too big.

Can one watch these matches on Peacock thru the Spanish channels (Universo/Telemundo)? I thought you could for EPL/UCL matches, but I'm not seeing anywhere to access it on there.

The reason I just added Peacock was I was under the impression you could do it for USMNT matches, as well as those others possibly.

And just like that Mudryk is injured.

These attackers come to Chelsea to get injured SMH.

Is Havertz always terrible with close control, or is this just a momentary thing?

Pulisic is just better than Sterling. Always has been. The only thing he is worse at is staying healthy.

Crazy, Fulham has twice the amount of shots on target.

Boehly needs to go buy more attackers this summer.

TBF, Chelsea had a number of fairly clean chances that if they had a scorer who could score they might have grabbed points. Wonder if Giroud is avaialable?

Shoot, I thought this match was tomorrow, until I hopped on here.
Yes, I bet you there may be a couple ready for CP to come back, haha.

This is why I am looking forward to rooting for Pulisic on another team. All clubs have some fans that are fickle with expectations out of control, but I do not think I have seen the yo-yo'ing of emotions like I have from some Chelsea faithful.
One minute, Player X is garbage and dead weight and should be sold, and the next minute, that same person may say that Chelsea will be cooking when Player X comes back. I hope most of these players do not search their names on Social media.

Is the Mudryk injury serious? Any word yet?

Potter said he started him despite a cold.

He will do great ... but the EPL will adjust to him.

Let's see how he does when/if he is 100% healthy.
