Evan Rotundo at KRC Genk

Sorry, I had done a search on him that turned up zip, that is why I started the 2nd thread. My mistake.

 

Evan started and scored the first goal in a 0-4 victory over Coleraine in the UEFA youth league.

Team wins 6-1 and advances to the next round. Rotundo had an assist.

 

Looks like Rotundo is going to be with the U18s for the season unless he really plays great to move up to the U21s. I found a U18 schedule here.

On Sunday the team won 1-6 over Westerlo. But I can not find a match report.

 

The U18 draw for the UEFA Youth League has Genk vs Juventus.

 

Genk U19's played Real Madrid on 9 November in the Al Abtal Cup and drew 1-1.

There is no team roster, but the goal scorer for Genk played with Rotundo in normal matches. So maybe Rotundo played?

U18 team won 1-5 today at RSC Charleroi.

 

U18s played Standard Liege last week and won 3-0. They play tomorrow at Club Brugge.
Rotundo should have played last week and should play tomorrow.

 

Evan saw a promotion with a start on Jong Genk vs Dender in the First Division B.

If he stays with Jong Genk, they have a match today vs Beerschot today at 2:30 PM EST.

 

On the bench, but did not play in a 2-3 loss to Beerschot.

He’s moved to centerback? I thought he was an attacking player at S04

 

That’s got to be wrong. Transfermarkt has him playing in the midfield.

 

I thought that it was strange as well to see him there as well. It must be a mistake.

 

Jong Genk drew 2-2.

The U18 Genk team will play in the UEFA Youth Challenge League vs Juventus on 8 February. Rotundo did play in earlier UEFA Youth Challenge matches, but with his promotion to the U23 team, I am not sure if he will play with the U18 team.

I would imagine that Rotundo makes at least the bench for this match.

 

Started on the bench and came is the only sub in the 73 min. Jong Genk won 0-1. The score was already 0-1 at that point. It looks like subbed in for Bastian Toma at attacking mid.

 

The last 10 matches of the Challenger Pro League season have been broken up into the top 6 teams who will play for promotion, and the bottom 6 who will fight to avoid relegation.

Genk U23 finished in 3rd with 19 points. 6th place was 14 points. Only one team gets relegated, so there is a chance that Genk could falter.
