Uruguayan dead balls. Knew they would score right when we made such a stupid foul. 1 point would've been a golden result...
stupid f*KING goal. this always happens to us lmao and the opposite team goalies turn into super saiyans. mediocre commentators applauding that were losing because we showed some heart
Sucks that we lost but we still have 5 more matches. We can turn this around but man something has to be done about our players that are incompetent. Because this won't just be an issue for this U20 event, but if we even want to qualify for the U20 World Cup. And I am concerned about how these players will act if they're called up (given that this tournament will have U23 players and thus widening the options).
if we qualify( big IF) at least we can count of jhon jader, yaser asprilla and maybe angel for that tournament . also luis quintero i think
Nah, it's 4 matches. And this was HUGE. We didn't just lose a point...we gave Uruguay 3. Can't see Brazil and Uruguay not making it. They were the most efficient teams in the first round, and they're the only teams who got 3 today.
I would agree with this stance. Clearly, that Uruguay team came to play and -1 GD is not horrible. I think they will be crowned champs. Along with Brazil, they are the clear favorites. Uruguay was very compact and counterattacks were brutal. Very intense and 'mature' team. Must have 7 points minimum vs Paraguay + Ecuador + Vzla. Doable. Once in the big dance, Bring in Duran, Yaser, Luna and Angel to polish up the lineup and find 1-2 hidden gems from here to May.
thats true, Uruguay is such a mature team... they play like they were ten years older. It always impresses me how Uruguay can produce those kind of players year after year. Having said that, Colombia didnt play that bad, we just could not score. Uruguay and Brazil are the best teams in the sudamericano, thats a no brainer, but then again Colombia has been the only team that really has shown to have a real chance to beat them. I hope we can make it to the WC, because this is probably the best generation we've had after that one back in 2005. In terms of names, we even have more options. Luis Quintero (Villareal) Devan Tanton (Fulham) - RB Mateo Mejia (Manchester Yunai) Juan Jose Perez (America de Quito) Plus Yaser and Duran.. the only big question is, will all of them be allowed to play for us in the WC
I think Duran hopefully does well at Aston vila then he is a Snt player and we find someone else to sell abroad at the WC. No point of risking him getting injured. If he plays consistently for Aston villa and is scoring he the 9 we need to go with since we don’t have any unless Luis Suarez steps it up before the summer
Paraguay u-20's are even worse than their senior team, how tf did they make it this far question, how does this work? who gets to go to the WC
thats more like it from Paraguay, we need colombian forwards that can do what Segovia does. A colombian would have kept dribbling until he fell on his face
I would say decent first half because despite the two goals we could have better capitalized on other chances and gave them a solid chance around the end.
