I'm not sure what it is with Orlando moderators, but can we please put them on ignore in MLS N&A? Orlando Rays is just as obnoxious and inflammatory about his team as Big Data was.

He's been more than fine. Today at the end of the game he has a different opinion than most of us - in the heat of the moment - and you have conflated that out of proportion to what actually characterizes his posting habits.

This doesn't really take away from the larger question if this is possible since it would probably be desirable (for mods to put posters on ignore outside of their forms as well), just in this instance the criticism isn't called for.

PODinCowtown is further proof we still need this option. It's inexcusable for BS to allow sociopaths like that to say that things like the new MLS social distancing guidelines are "virus theater."

There is no valid reason to keep us from having the ability to put moderators on ignore outside of their section, or have a better option for reporting them.

I don't think that post is anywhere near as offensive as you seem to want it to be.

1 - No reason to call him a "sociopath." You may not like his view, but name calling is not acceptable. For anybody.
2 - He does bring up a legit concern about a place to wash hands. Mind, the rest of the guidelines are consistent with outdoors, as Yosh pointed out, but your outrage is misplaced.
3 - You also don't have to either read his posts or respond to his posts, no matter what you think of them.

Seriously, if this idiot isn't going to be removed as a moderator, then what the hell is it going to take to have someone do a little coding to allow us to put moderators on ignore outside of their section?

You don't like him, and is fine. Calling him names is not acceptable. This is your second warning. If I have to do it again, you will receive a yellow.

And I think his info is wrong (or incomplete at best), too. But I am neither calling him names, nor am I responding to his posts.

@Yoshou @Ismitje @KCbus tagging you guys so you are aware.

IIRC, back in the day, there was an attempt to make this possible, but there is something in the code which prevents putting a mod on ignore because of the way mods are identified in the system. Or something like that. I don't think that has ever changed.

Something must have changed. We can ignore the few remaining non-mods who still have their own personal forums, thanks to the original incarnation of BSSC.

Add morrissey to that list of mods who seem to do nothing but troll endlessly and never add anything meaningful to discussions.

Asking once again for the ability to put morrissey on ignore. Does nothing but start arguments with everyone and then harasses people when proven wrong.

Yet another request to be able to put morrissey on ignore after yet another personal attack. He's a POS and the fact that he literally can't be ignored while he constantly tries to start fights with people is inexcusable at this point.

I don't think moderators should be able to doxx users.

Maybe 3-4 weeks ago. Didn't see any point in reporting it, since he is a mod.

On one hand, WR is a different fish regarding what is acceptable. Though, the red lines that violate TOS still exist. But if it is overly problematic, contact a supermod and have them look at it. Mods in the past have been defrocked for unacceptable posting.
