It's gonna be tough but we really need to be focusing on the Asian Cup aside from the WC and the Olympics. I mean it's already been a little over 62 years, and we nearly had it only to give it away back in 2015, it's about damn time we win the Asian Cup again.
Question: are Cho Gyu-seong and Yi Jae-seong really close friends? Trying to figure out how badly does Gyu-seong Wang to go to Mainz.
Pretty good XI. Even though the next WC is worlds away. Curious to see what everyone’s ideal starting XI is.
No to SBK. In every single major tournament he played, he made stupid mistakes and reminded me of JSR.
KHG as a defensive midfielder in 2026 is interesting. Celtic were linked with him, but I think it's too soon to move- unless it is a smaller European league, like Hungary. He needs playing time, but in the KNT context he'd boost the average height, and is a competent passer at longer distances, from what I can see. I think SHM has to be in the team. Even at age 34, he can play well, because today, footballers can easily extend their longevity with proper training and diet. Dario Srna was, at Son's age, the fastest player of Euro 2016. I hope the proposed LB can at least defend- I don't know much about him.
He doesnt rly play well for the NT even in good form anyway because he gets the number 10 responsibilities..
Not saying Son isn't important, but his days of leading the team/being the front runner are limited. We've got both Lee Kang-in and Kim Min-jae to lead the team from here on out while Son can help the team as a veteran support role i.e. our match vs Portugal.
Yeah, probably a start but early sub off at 60-75. Well we'll see how his career goes. He has the advantage of not having had multiple quadriceps or ACL tears which really limites your career. If you think about it, he doesn't have that much serious ligamentous or muscular injuries... not counting that facial fracture ofc.
With his career being free of injuries, I see no reason he couldn't be deadly at age 34. My own national team has had plenty of players effective in old age. But I'd say that KMJ might have a better personality to be the leader. Son is a nice guy, but sometimes fierce determination is necessary.
would love to see kang in boss the midfield by then. kim min jae will be a rock in the defense no doubt. I will miss Kim Young Gwon's clutch goals, but I like Jeong Tae Wook and Park Ji Soo.

Uruguay is also claiming the same.
*Colombia. It's because we don't have that many options considering majority of the European teams will be busy with the 2024 UEFA Euros Qualification. It's either going to be a team from CONMEBOL, CAF, or maybe a team from CONCACAF, but it seems pretty certain that Uruguay and Colombia are our opponents for next month's friendlies.
Colombia was the country where one of those players did the racist asian eye gesture right? That pissed me off for a solid day.
+ Threw the first ad kit away when our player was getting treated + forced KJS to stand up when he was fouled, etc.
Yeah- I remember the racist gesture scandal. Pity European teams have those qualifiers. I'd kill for a friendly between Croatia and Korea.
