-02 AM Samardzic getting praise by coach who said he's improved a lot defensively. That was always one of his main negatives. Arslan also praised him and sees him like a "son" too.

-05 M/W Ulrich is fit again. Missed Winter Camp to injury.
    https://www.stuttgarter-nachrichten...d6-4633-817f-e8a24a1e43b9.html?strytlpage=883

-00 CF Burkardt is having a really bad season to always injuried. Looks like his original planned return of end of Jan-early Feb ain't happening. Gonna end up wasting the whole season at this point

-Update on 03 CB Fobassam of 2BL Furth
"With Olli, it's basically about a player understanding what it means to show a certain humility, to classify and assess yourself - in terms of your own performance, but also how you get along within the squad and club there," says Azzouzi. The 19-year-old is said to have attracted negative attention internally, "we don't want streamlined players," emphasizes the managing director, but obviously those responsible felt compelled to make a clear statement in the case of the young central defender.

"Talent alone is not enough," says Azzouzi. "You have to recognize what your own level of performance is and offer yourself." Nevertheless, the door is not closed for Fobassam, who, however, is still not allowed to train with the pros and should only play in the U23s.

Nevertheless, Rachid Azzouzi says: "A player is never written off. As long as someone is playing here, we will always try to get them on the right track."

-Update on 03 M/W Littbarski of 2BL Furth
In the end, Lucien Littbarski apparently took the right steps along this path. The son of world champion Pierre Littbarski was transferred to the U23s shortly after the start of the season for disciplinary reasons and is still waiting for his professional debut. He wasn't allowed to train under Zorniger either, but he was allowed to play for at least half of the first friendly against ATSV Erlangen. "He's working on himself and is ready to develop bit by bit," says Azzouzi about the 19-year-old. "I only hear very positive things from the NLZ."

LMAO, how these clubs always say that talent is not enough ONLY for Germans. You see TONS of unprofessional foreign players who still get tons of 1st team chances. And them getting banished is usually only very short term. And we always see German banishment like this where youth dumped for half a year and more. Some get axed perm and end up leaving too. Based on most things Fobassam is likely goner in Summer.

all these clubs always use the same wordings and its only applicable to Germans.

Bravo at Bayer was being a little shit and club wanted to continue to prop him up and for him to make 1st team but he wanted to go back to Spain and left.

Where is the propping up for the German kids who have attitude???

2025 U21 Euro Group Qualifier aka 02-03 Age Groups
    [IMG]

LOL why do we always have Poland and Israel in group???
"The group will be very challenging for us," says DFB coach Antonio Di Salvo. "In Poland and Israel we are meeting two well-known teams that have already challenged us on the way to this year's EURO. The Israeli team is also one of our group opponents at the European Championship. Interesting and challenging clashes with Bulgaria, Kosovo and Estonia are also awaiting us . Our goal is to qualify first in the group for the European Championships in Slovakia."

-Woltemade's 3rd goal of season (has 6 assists too) from 2:34-onwards. Nice combination and finish

-Borkowski's 4th goal of season and 2-1 winning goal from 2:50-onwards

what a crash and burn by 03 W Tekin Gencoglu who moved to 5th division....couldn't even pan out in RL.

    4 clubs in 1 year
-Jan 2022 moved from Dortmund u19 to Munster U19
-Summer 2022 moved from Munster U19 to RW Ahlen
-Winter 2023 moves from RW Ahlen to 5th division

was a regular for 03s in U15-U16. A good example of why never take all this U15-U17 seriously.

I'm still in only U21 is relevant and even that has its limits. LOL you end U21 with even year age group at 22-23 and odd at 21-22. LMAO, as if one can't jump to 1BL/top 4 or big club between 21-23 and older than that. And Germany WILL ALWAYS HAVE late bloomers too.

so we finally have the duality of 04 GK Backhaus who has pro contract at 1BL Bremen and has made bench in past.

according to TM update he's German-Japanese.
was obvious that his duality was Asian based on his face but just lacking the non-German country.

guess German father and Japanese Mother.

Appelkamp and Littbarski are others who are also German father and Japanese mother too.

its interesting to see past dfb 03 not doing much
-Suver=gets poached by Croatia gets injured and hasn't played in fast approaching 2 years now
-Aliu=bombed badly post U19, can't even breakthrough RL and he's poached by Kosovo
-Gencoglu=bombed in U19-onwards, has struggled post U17 and some injuries
-Reuther=can't even start in 6th division Germany.....
    -Werdich=now in 5th division
-Schwieren=FINALLY found a club has been clubless since Summer. Now in 5th division. Looks like was poached by Domincan Republic
    -Oehler=now in 6th division
-Barata=poached by Portugal and after than his whole career crashed. Couldn't perform in U19 mixed with injuries and now cant even breakthrough RL
    -Trujillo=can't even breakthrough RL
-Kurt=poached by Morocco following his tons of injuries, currently in an injury free season can't breakthrough RL
-Atty=neveredning injuries and hasn't done anything in years now
-Wasilewski=poached by Poland (ex dfb) and now in 5th division
    -Klein=can't even breakthrough RL
    -Brambach=clubless
    -Baydar=6th divisuion
    -Asante=can't even breakthrough RL
    -Calhanoglu=struggling in RL
-Sanyang=struggling in RL and isn't even 1st choice
-Cabrera=yeah was listed in Guardian top 50 2003s in world.....which never made sense now in 5th division. Also plays with Uruguay too.

main issue for Aliu, Kurt and Klein is that Schalke II isn't touching 03s outside of Boboy (not even Schalke Academy) and Sane

clear that Gencoglu, Trujillo, Atty, Baydar, Asante, Calhanoglu, Sanyang, are likely to be poached in future by others. None are good enough.

Does doing better but not really
-Matanovic=gets poached by Croatia. Transfers to 1BL Frankfurt to get reloaned to his parent club 2BL Pauli. Than this month, Pauli axed him and looks headed to Austrian loan now. Has been downtrending ever since he left playing dfb. Of course he has full package as CF so not writing him off but no progress
-Gedikli=moves to Turkish 1st to play never does, switches to Turkey as he sees it as he owes Turkey (LOL) and now going on Austrian 1st loan. So switched to Turkey but will become pro in Austria. At this point, almost none of German-Turks who go to Turkey even play

he's also tied leading scorer of U21 players in Serie A. Even U23 in Serie A, only 2 ahead. Just imagine Samardzic didn't hit the post like 2-3 times this season.

    Trapp extends until 2026.

that is issue for GKs like Ramaj and Philipp/Noll when current 90 born GKs Trapp/Baumann look like 2-3 years away from being done basically makes you bencher until 24-25 y/o but then no guarantee club will trust you to be #1 when time comes.

Olschowsky has similar issue, LMAO, Gladbach didn't want to burden him and you have an ex GK who trashed the club for this BS. They bring in Omlin for long term so yet another who #1 spot might be 2-3 years away min assuming they would even trust him then.

would these 3 even be in 1BL bench next season or go on loan until the time comes to become #1 and have some regular experience.

of course could still be #1 if Baumann, Trapp, Omlin go injured or if they start to bomb.

Could Thiaw not be on the b list anyway? Lol at Dest, another player like Hudson-Odoi who both Bayern & Dortmund wanted but is actually pretty mediocre.

he can't be in B list, B list only works for young players who have been there for X number of years. He moved to Milan in Summer 2022.

I remember when Dortmund used to put regular 1st team foreign youth in B list on purpose to add another foreign player in A-Squad. Just shows that there are loopholes to every single youth initiative.

for me whole B list or homegrown should ONLY be for domestic players aka passports. Even Germany's homegrown can count foreign who have been at club long enough. What nonesense is that? I recall at one point like 3/4 homegrown for 1 club forgot the club was foreign and 1/4 was German GK who was never gonna play, LMAO.

Dest is bang average RB who can't even defend. I still recall USA fans celebrating like crazy about the poaching while Dutch only wanted him for U21 and none really cared about his ditching. Why are all big clubs interested in him? He's clearly not at that level of Barca, Bayern, Dortmund, Milan etc.

USA is full of poaching players from Europe which is why I never bought in the whole USA youth are getting better narrative. And clubs in Europe constantly push for them as USA is untapped market too. And their home league of MLS is rubbish too.

if troll poster is reading this, I'm sure he's crying that ex 1BL Hoppe (who bombed at Schalke U19- II but club was still pushing for him in 1st team) who he hyped to moon got dumped on loan to Scottish 1st. Flopped in La Liga and Flopped in Championship too.

Hudson-Odoi has to be one of most overrated young out there. Gonna end up with Ghana at this point. A good example of why 1BL is garbage for own youth, instead of propping up German youth, let's just bring in every Pengland youth to become Sancho 2.0 and sell for boat load of cash instead of prioritizing dev players who might stick around.

    1BL
-04 LB Zehnter makes his 1BL debut today. Its his 2nd pro cap, played 5 min to seal a 1-0 W. Surprised he was trusted to such a task with only 1-0 lead.

-04 M/W Tohumcu and 05 M Bischof getting praise by Hoff coach
    Young talent Tohumcu impresses Breitenreiter
As bad as things are going for TSG Hoffenheim, coach André Breitenreiter doesn't blame the junior professionals in the squad. On the contrary: they stand for the fact that in the current phase with nine competitive games in a row without a win, good things can also come out of it. The most recent example: Umut Tohumcu. Breitenreiter praised him greatly.

Quite surprisingly, Tohumcu's name was among the eleven Hoffenheim starters in the cup game against RB Leipzig (1: 3). A few days earlier, the TSG coach sent the 18-year-old midfielder into the second half against Gladbach (1:4). "Umut played it great," emphasized Breitenreiter.

He attested to the youngster's high pass rate, extreme calm on the ball and a safe game. "I have to say that that really convinced me." Breitenreiter was particularly impressed by the carefree nature of players like Tohumcu and Tom Bischof (17), who has also been able to play twice from the start. "They just want to play."

Tohumcu transfers training performance to the field
And that's what Hoffenheim needs alongside the leadership quality that someone like new signing Thomas Delaney stands for. Regarding Tohumcu, the first conclusion is: “Umut deserves it. He's training really well and showed that in the friendlies. And he's shown it on the pitch now," said Breitenreiter.

It remains to be seen to what extent there will be room for him in central midfield when there is a duel in Bochum on Saturday. The choice is great. And so slowly the team has to deliver a liberating blow in order not to get even deeper into the relegation vortex. Hoffenheim is currently three points ahead of the relegation place with 19 points – occupied by VfL Bochum.
    https://www.ligainsider.de/umut-toh...ent-tohumcu-beeindruckt-breitenreiter-333320/
-looks like 00 M Mbom (Bremen) and 01 M Stiller (Hoffenheim) are bot unift for weekend matches

    2BL
-03 CB Riedel continues to get some caps, 1 cap away from his 20th pro cap and from that has 7 XIs. So far it seems like if Darmstadt gets 1BL promotion he's only one who might make the promotion to 1BL. Rest are likely to be dumped on loan and 05s still in U19.
-05 M Neto, played his 2nd longest cap for FD as 14 min sub. Its his 6th cap of season in 2BL too. Still waiting for his 1st ever XI. Funny enough has 0 DFB Call ups for matches too. Will that change in March???
-01 M Papela who is XI at 2BL Sandhausen from day 1 and has gotten a lot of praise looks to have injured himself and is looking like out for season.......I just hope that half a season of XI in 2BL is enough for Mainz in 1BL to play him more next season

    Austrian Cup
-03 CB Oermann (on Winter loan) made his XI debut today for his club looks like placed at LB according to some reports. Played 120 min in 3-1 L in ET. 00 CF Malone assisted his club's lone goal.

    Dutch 2nd division
-02 AM/W Wehmeyer has scored his 1st ever adult goals today. Recently signed pro contract too. Scoring a brace today as a sub in 6-1 W. Also important to note that his club are strong Eredivisie Promotion candidates. So next season....same club that 02 W Nankishi is loaned out too. Nankishi also has scored 2 goals this season (and 1 assist) but his issue is whole fit injured/unfit, fit, injured/unfit etc. Hard to be consistant and breakthrough adult like that but he too could end up playing Eredivisie next season. Could see Bremen reloaning him there too.

    3rd Liga
-03 M Farhner scored his 2nd of season and winning goal in 2-0 W for Freiburg II. Another clean sheet for 02 GK Atubolu
-01 LB Ezekwem plays back to back playing time after comeback from long term injury. Its annoying but if he breakthrough 1BL with Freiburg gonna be post U21 due to all injuries.
-03 CB Rosenfelder plays 7 min and also only recently back from long term injury.

Freiburg II looking like making comeback in terms of full fitness as Ezekwem, Rosenfelder, Breunig, Rohl all returned from injury and all of them are 1st prospect too. And the club still does better job that Dortmund II.

    RL
-02 CF Harres (on loan from 3rd Liga) scored 2-1 Winning goal. His 4th of season so far. Its interesting to see the dev of ex Dynamo Dresden youth CFs. 01 CF Konigsdorffer is in 2BL and doing well enough, has 1BL potential. 02 CF Harres has shown that his potential is better than RL, next is likely 3rd Liga. 02 CF Gollnack doing well in Magdeburg II in 6th division, will he get chances in 2BL??? 03 CF Naderi moved to Gladbach II and although not regular in XI has shown productivity in RL so far. And next up is 04 CF J.Hoffmann who has pro contract with 3rd Liga Dynamo.
-02 RB Zimmer scored his 1st ever adult goal in 2-1 L

    so far 04 LBs
    -1BL Debuts=Ba, Rothe, Zehnter
    -1BL Training+Bench=Reichardt (also CB)
-1BL Training aka Hertha desperate to extend with him and TONS want to poach=Ullrich
Let's be honest, Ullrich would already have debuted in 1BL if he wasn't in limbo. Expiring 2023 contract. As he's already shown his qualities in RL. And didn't leave in Winter, so either running down contract or will extend. Seems more likely to bail free.

    -1BL Training=Finkgrafe
    -2BL Training=Jarju
    -3rd Liga Breakthrough=Mogultay

an interesting age group for LBs. With a lot of 1BL prospects too.

    05 LBs also already forming
    -1BL Pro Contract=Azevedo
    -1BL Training=Jurschick, Braun,
-1BL Rated=Becker (injured for awhile), Strasner

-Freiburg added 2 players on their EL roster
01 M Engelhardt (truly interesting how he's constantly with 1st even though on loan from Bremen, does Freiburg intend on buying him??? A player who could jump to 1BL post U21 too) and 00 RB Treu. Funny thing I almost added Treu on list of 00-01 2nd row list from previous page but didn't in end but this confirms that could be listed too.

-RB Leipzig added 2 players on CL Roster
    05 CB Ihendu and 06 M Osawe

-Plastic U19 coach talks about Youth
… THE EXCHANGE WITH MARCO ROSE
“Yes, we have an exchange from time to time. It is very valuable for us that Marco keeps an eye on the youngsters and shows great openness towards us youth coaches. He even attended an away game for my team at the time last year - the players noticed that - it's never been so quiet in the dressing room before a game."

… THE TRAINING CAMP PARTICIPATION OF MAX VOIGT, OHENE KÖHL, DANIEL IHENDU, ARIS BAYINDIR AND YANNICK EDUARDO
“The most important thing is that the players get this opportunity and, of course, take advantage of it. They got this chance because they are extremely inquisitive and want to improve every day. This mentality is what matters if you want to make the leap. I have the impression that they came back to our team with a lot of commitment and, above all, bring the higher intensity of the game to the pros, which of course helps us.”

I did 00-01, 02-03, Now its time for 04-05s look into in terms of progress

this list unlike the other 2 won't be about 1st row or Regulars in Pros but about pro debuts.

LMAO, these guys are 2027 U21 Euro too.

on another note, this is also NOT full list of 04-05 prospect as X # of them are injured/injury prone and bunch of them won't get chances until Summer or post U19. If you take into account Summer 2024 is when 05s are done with U19.

Aseko has to be only core 05 who is absent from list. But he's currently doing Bayern II camp after having injury issues during season. I hope goes perm in II for rest of season and then also missing Krattenmacher who brokethrough XI in RL but that list ignores RL.

I'm still curious to see what 2005 Players will expand the core 05 age groups minus Wanner who is forcing upwards.

Maza solo dismantled Liverpool U23 made of 01-03s, LMAO. In Germany 01-03s would be in pros-RL.While Maza is still U19 player. A Player who Only started to get dfb call ups this season too and not before.

2005 age group is legit packed even as one sees poached 05s are making real progress too.

for sake of completness forgot 2 players for 2nd list and today added a new one. Easy to forget when you have no lists, lol.
-RB=Kisilowski (2BL, the same one who impressed vs Spain-Portugal and got praise by Walter)
    -M=Loune (1BL)
-CF=Graf (2BL, new addition today as he made bench and likely has been training with Jahn. Yet another 04 CF the list of 04 CF is a big one too)

03 GK Urbig (2nd back to back XI) and 02 GK Schreiber (6th back to back XI and 7th XI) both continue in XI in 2BL.Good news for 02-03 U21 cycle too.

from sound of it none of the goals they conceded were any mistakes. Especially Urbig, Jahn has a really bad defense so GK will be left helpless.

06 CB Scholl trains with Bayern 1st for first time today. Nothing shocking as he was always next up after Buchmann

    Bayern CBs looking like
-00 CB Mai, Swiss 1st XI. At some point will have to make that top 4 league move
-02 CB Lawrence, 2BL loan, brokethrough XI but between injuries+red cards lost his XI
-03 CB Mbi, 2BL loan, brokethrough XI and club looks better with that without
-04 CB Janiztek, XI in II/RL. All but likely gonna bail in Summer. Was close in Winter to leaving.
-05 CB Buchmann, seen as future for club at CB. Impressed in Winter camp, barely made it due to school. And suppose to jump perm to 1st in Summer according to reps although that likely means will play RL+1st Training
-06 CB Scholl, training with 1st for 1st time.

so far all have trained with 1st and Mai and Mbi are only ones with Bayern caps so far. Every age group minus 01.

I expect 6/6 to make it to top 4 in future too.
