Anyone else having problems registering? We tried and it automatically charged our Apple Card $18.95 So then we tried another account and it said it was already used.
I wasn't able to redeem the code because I'm running MacOS 12, not 13. Why does that matter? I have NO IDEA. But, I'll try with an iPad when I get home tonight.
It does appear that you'll need to update your iOS to redeem the code.— Jeremiah Oshan (@JeremiahOshan) February 1, 2023
I had no issues. I have a current Apple TV+ subscription. I followed the link from my email in a Chrome browser, made several clicks, and wound up on the Crew page with a list of media that I could watch.
To avoid the whole fee to create the share plan can I just give my dad my username and password and we both watch the games? I'm not an apple user so no idea if they block this from happening.
This is the missing question. All the talk is about Apple Family Sharing, but I don't believe there has been an answer to the number of active screens on a single Apple ID. For example, If I was at LDC watching the Crew and decided to pull up a game on my phone, but my wife was already at home watching on our Apple TV - will it work? I'll ask my rep today when I call her. Also - Family Sharing on Apple doesn't have a cost. You do have to make some decisions initially on what you're going to share with the "family" but I don't know if that is per user or not. My wife and I have a "family" which allows us to share calendars, notes, subscriptions, payments, etc.
Nope! You need to be able to log in to the iCloud website but that's it. Here's the fine print and website: Family Sharing requires a personal Apple ID signed in to iCloud. Music, movies, TV shows, and books can be downloaded on up to 10 devices per account, five of which can be computers. iOS 8 or later and OS X Yosemite or later are required to set up or join a Family Sharing group and are recommended for full functionality. Not all content is eligible for Family Sharing. Content can be hidden by family members; hidden content is not available for download. Content downloaded from family members or acquired via redemption codes is not subject to Ask to Buy. iCloud requires iOS 5 or later on iPhone 3GS or later, iPod touch (3rd generation or later), iPad Pro, iPad or later, iPad Air or later, or iPad mini or later; a Mac computer with OS X Lion 10.7.5 or later; or a PC with Windows 7 or Windows 8 (Outlook 2007 or later or an up-to-date browser is required for accessing email, contacts, and calendars). Some features require iOS 13 or iPadOS and macOS Catalina. Some features require a Wi-Fi connection. Some features are not available in all countries or regions. Access to some services is limited to 10 devices. www.apple.com/family-sharing/
You do not need to pay anything to get it to work. But you must own an apple device to set it up per their support page. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201088
I had heard you will be able to choose, I guess that is what they are working towards. Once you have the tech to put one in, it seems like a second should be
Nor is it with my Galaxy 22. If I wind up working evenings again which is a decent possibility, I may have to watch some Crew games at work on my phone if I don't want to watch a replay and accidentally spoil the result somehow. I'll just watch it from the website on my browser if necessary. As long as it works I'm content.
So i have apple family sharing , Apple Music etc… now if i get this to watch Crew games I would also like to know how many devices i use my xbox x , my phone , and my 3 sons will want to free load to watch the Crew (ages 18,20&21)

I haven't seen anything for MLS in particular but this is from Apple's Support page. Apple TV+: One subscription allows you to enjoy 6 simultaneous streams. If you have an Apple Music student subscription, which includes Apple TV+ for a limited time, you can stream Apple TV+ only on one device at a time. Apple TV channels: One subscription allows you to enjoy up to 3 simultaneous streams. Some channels might allow more than 3 simultaneous streams. I assume it'll be either 3 or 6 streams. But will not know unless they update their documentation, or people find out on opening day.
I spoke with Natalie in the FO yesterday and they are having a big meeting with Apple today to be trained on the new system. She said this was the number one question the team has. Said she would get back to me when they hear.
Does/will Apple TV allow for watching multiple streams on one device(multiview)? I love having 4 games up at once.
I mentioned something about this a few pages back - I don't know about 4 games at once but on the Apple TV (hard device), PIP is an option within the Apple TV app and allows you to put a game on in the corner and open up something else. I was able to turn on one of Apple MLB games and a Youtube Tv game at the same time. It's not perfect but it's something.
Per The Athletic, Free-Free. As in you only need an Apple ID and the Apple TV app, not Apple TV +. Edit: I have seen that eventually some of the free games will go behind the TV+ wall. But I think the plan is, this year, to have at least one free-free match available during just about every match window.
