Squad List: Out Players: Alaba, Mendy, Vazquez Venue: Estadio Santiago Bernabeu Match Notes: Carvajal and Tchouameni officially return from their injuries. Valencia fired Gattuso 3 days ago. They are just 1 point above relegation. Real Madrid have yet to lose at home this season, while Valencia have won just 1 of 8 away games. Real Madrid have won 11 and drawn 5 of their last 16 meetings with Valencia at the Bernabeu. Ancelotti has a few tactical options with the returning players. Is Carvajal ready to start? If so, do you play Camavinga or Nacho on the left? Is Tchouameni ready to start? If so, do you pair him up with Ceballos, Fede, Kroos, or Modric? Does Rodrygo start again? QUE CANTE EL GALLINERO, Y EL LATERAL TAMBIEN, QUE SI HOY CANTAMOS TODOS, HOY GANAMOS OTRA VEZ!!

(@realmadrid) February 2, 2023 Camavinga at LB; Ceballos Kroos Modric in midfield. Asensio gets a start. Looks like Carvajal and Tchouameni aren’t ready to start yet. Can’t say I’m a fan of the lineup though without Fede or Rodrygo
Fede has been pretty bad lately, I think he has some personal issues as well so it's good to rest him. I don't mind a Kroos Ceballos Modric midfield. Don't really like Asensio starting but what can you do. Let's get those 3 points!
Pitch in tragic condition, there's been trouble all season, for reasons unknown so far. Update #Bernabéu-Rasen: Diesmal noch schlechter als letzten Sonntag vs. Real Sociedad. #RealMadridValencia pic.twitter.com/Kd2HHlrLyq— Adrian Kühnel (@adriankuehnel) February 2, 2023
I'd imagine it's because of the part roof and lacking natural light on the grass, that's always a problem although other stadiums seem to have found a way to deal with it
Vini "always" tries to tunnel his opponents nowadays, he should vary with less risky/flashy alternatives
