120 million for Enzo Fernández is too much. He’s a good player, but it could be a hit or miss.

It will be interesting to see how he fares in the hustle and bustle of our league !!

Plus he will have a target on his back !

Mbappe misses penalty, retaken penalty and empty goal rebound in a minute. Never seen anything like it.

Just noticed that Neymar has another carnival-related injury! On top of that, I see that PSG subbed out Mbappe in the first half of tonight's match with an injury. No idea if serious or not.

If he had scored that second penalty it would not have counted.
After a player takes a penalty and it rebounds back to the kicker, he cannot touch the ball again until another player (from either team) has touched it.
If the goalkeeper parries/saves the penalty and the ball rebounds back to the kicker, there's no problem since another player (the goalkeeper) had touched the ball.
But in this case, the shot rebounded back to the kicker off the post without another player having touched it. So his follow up shot was a no-go if he had scored.
At least, that's how I've always known it to be unless the Law has changed.

    EDIT:
If the goalkeeper pushed the ball onto the post, then Mbappe would have been okay. But I cannot tell from this gif if the goalkeeper touched the ball onto the post.

Yeah it's kind of hard to see, but the second penalty was a save too, so it would've counted.

Mbappe's injury is not serious. Apparently just taken off for precautionary reasons.

There was an update just now: thigh injury and likely to miss first leg against Bayern. Out also against Toulouse, Marseille and Monaco.

    And Neymar out too?

Was looking forward to that matchup. It is/was the most interesting R16 contest by an absolute mile.

From what I had read Neymar injury was muscle fatigue and minor. Although in Brazil I heard he hadn't recovered properly from the injury he had at the WC. We will see. PSG might be screwed if it's only Messi out there without Mbappe and Neymar.

Slight tangent but apparently Djokovic just played and won the whole competition in Australia with a slightly torn hamstring !!

How is that even possible ?

PSG completely screwed by injuries. Mbappe, Neymar, Ramos, Kimpembe all hurt and doubtful to be available and fit vs Bayern. They have no chance to do anything.

Kimpembe is back with the team for training. His return would make Ramos' injury largely irrelevant. But having at least 2 of MnM healthy would obviously be important.

Unfortunately Madrid beat Valencia but they Militão and Benzema went off injured. Looks like Militão is more serious while Benzema was more of a precaution.

Kimpembe might play but he hasn't played a competitive game in months. Honestly I give them close to zero chance against Bayern.

Bayern will be without Mane though.
