Goals from the match at Westerlo are up here and start at 0:45. Genk goal #1 sequence is started by McKenzie with a 5 yard pass. Not Genk, but the 2nd Westerlo goal is worth a look. It is about 2:15. 3rd for Genk is a nice scissors kick.
Next match 29 Jan vs Serang at 3 pm. No ESPN + for this one. I would assume McKenzie starts. As an aside, if you were able to get Eleven Sports streaming, you could have a feast of Belgian matches that day. Four matches one after the other.

(not indicated on the lineup sheet): Only watched the 2nd half but it's the 83rd minute and I just now noticed Mark McKenzie is wearing the captain's armband for Genk. pic.twitter.com/QOPSB6XEOm— Daniel (@DanielSmith1022) January 29, 2023
Tony Meola mentioned on Counter Attack some time ago that he coached MM on a YNT and raved about his leadership ability. Nice to see him with the armband at Genk. Maybe got it when captain was subbed out.
Could he get a shot at a move to a club in a top 5 league or far better to spend another season in the Belgian league with perhaps, CL football in the Fall?
Should stay for at least one more year for sure imo. CL football at Genk is nice to have but he really should just cement himself further and really put those mental mistakes he can sometimes make as far behind him as possible
Next match @ Eupen on 1 Feb 12:40 PM EST on ESPN + This is the make up match from a few weeks ago cancelled due to snow. McKenzie should start.
Starts. This will be the first match with out the recently transferred Paul Ounachu. They should be fine though.
Sure seems like it. Aziz Mohammed is out there in his position. And just got a yellow and gave up a PK for hitting someone in the face in the box.
Edit now the score is only 1-1. Something happened to make the Lambert goal not count. Must have been offside.
These days you gotta check in several places because online sites are notoriously bad at giving the correct lineups and formations.
Match highlights from the Seraing match here starting at 24:33. No offensive highlights from Seraing, this McKenzie is not really in the highlights at all.
