    • No team has overturned a 3 goal deficit in the EFL Cup semi before
    • They have had a week to rest
    • We really shouldn't mess this up from here ...

Martial and Sancho will be in the squad according to Erik in the press conference :)

********ing fantastic to have Jadon and Martial in the matchday squad.

Our bench is now gonna be stocked with players who can make a positive impact all across the attack and even in midfield and defence.

I'm very interested to see how Sancho in particular is used as he will not be a part of the first XI given Rashford's form and Antony's unique profile. We do have a game every 3 days for the forseeable future so this is perfect timing.

I hate this lineup. Need Rotation. The guys on the Bench should have started and bring the big guns in if needed.

OK a bit late to the party but NOT happy about this lineup.

ten Hag goofed here. 3-0 up on agg + second leg at home + Forest is the absolute best we will get this season to rest bodies.

if we get any significant injury here we won't be able to Sabitzer it away this time

The only thing I can think of is that ETH wants to put chance of not making the final beyond doubt. If we'd have put a bunch of kids out there and Forest score first then it might have become a contest. With potential for new owners coming in maybe ETH figures he needs to have a trophie this season to keep his job? Grasping at straws I know.

You'd think the injury to Eriksen in an easy game would have been a wake up call.

Why run players into the ground in the most concentrated season ever, in a match where the tie is already over?

Watch Varane pick up an injury

    Varane clattered into.

FFS Ten Hag better haul Varane, Cas & Bruno at HT.

Triple sub, Rashford Martial and Sancho.

Not happy risking Rashford, but maybe he needs to play to maintain his form?

Loving Cas intercept pass that got that first goal going.

His tackle-passes and intercept-passes are understated genius.

Lovely 2nd goal from Bruno, Rashford, Fred :)
