the most amazing thing about this chelsea situation to me is that £500m+ later and the squad is still not particularly impressive.

    Fernández or not

Isn't Alfonso Davies their left back already? Unless if they are going to move him to left wing.
Also, €70m seems awfully high for a 29 year old full back....

Cancelo can play RB too. Likely means Kimmich won't have to play there again and can stick to midfield.

Newc up 1-0 already. 2-0 overall.

likely in the final now unless Southampton dig deep

Bruno G will miss the final.

He's one of if not their best player. He is someone we should be buying. Literally does everything besides score double digit goals.

Botman has been brilliant this year, and I'd love home next to Licho. But he'd cost a mint. He's likely out of reach now relative to our most pressing needs.

Ziyech to PSG agreed. slightly odd one.

as much as i like the guy he hasn't hit the Ajax heights for a while now.

works for him though. probably gets a league winner's medal which he certainly won't at chelsea

Matt Doherty to Atlético confirmed too.

Spurs cancelled his contract because they have the max players on loan already.

    another odd one

Enzo Fernández deal agreed. looks like it will go through as the record PL deal.

£105.6m. apparently chelsea have spent more than all the clubs in the major leagues combined this window

Giroud has rejected Everton (unsurprisingly). looking like no new friends for them

Great business by Benfica. They make a €100m profit on him in just over 6 months...

    Oh, thanks for that.

Not quite the same, but still a huge loss for them as far as top 4 race

I'm a bit surprised Liverpool didn't do more in terms of MF this window. Even if you just a loan move.

They seem short on numbers to me and everyone is horribly out of form, especially given Klopps preference for a 3 man MF.

Genuinely fuming at the Enzo deal tbh. It needs to be financially impossible for Chelsea to sign anyone for like 3-5 years now, otherwise I worry about other teams doing the same with their books and permanently damaging football. And even if UEFA plug the gaps Boehly has exploited, Chelsea getting away with it would be disgusting.

Forest sign Jonjo Shelvey (why?) and possibly Navas.

they've signed a lot of over 30's lately. experience is one thing but it can tip the other way too

AC Milan can't afford Zaniolo while a relegation bound team like Bournemouth can. How the times have changed.
