Is he the first English player born in 2004 to start in the PL? Rico Lewis has started in the CL but only been on a sub in the league.
Lewis Hall vs Man City pic.twitter.com/RNrtMFQuNL— َ (@CheIseaComps) November 9, 2022 1591533976346578944 is not a valid tweet id These last couple of games Lewis Hall has looked one of their better players, although Chelsea are struggling at the moment. He should've done better for the Willock goal but Koulibaly was also at fault. Hall was close to going on loan according to the Daily Mail but that didn't materialise as he was reluctant to play left back. A couple of other 2004 born Chelsea players might be leaving permanently as Charlie Webster & Jude Soonsup-Bell are reportedly in the final year of their contract. JSB apparently out of form and not featuring regularly. The Mirror reckon Webster might stay. Both appeared in U19 qualifiers last year (playing up with the talented 2003 group) but missed the first qualifying round this season. Assume they'll return for the decisive Spring games. Also Leicester were considering loaning Sammy Braybrooke out in the summer. Perhaps he will depart in January. Adam Wharton was called up to the U16 squad as I recall. They actually gave youth caps to fellow Blackburn midfielders Charlie Weston & Jake Garrett who are around the same age but now seem to have less potential. This scout report reckons Wharton needs to improve his off the ball work.
Apparently Man City have an interest in JSB as well as Spurs, Southampton, Palace, Villa and West Ham. PL2 matches have now stopped for the World Cup and don’t return until January which means they should be able to train a bit with the seniors not at the World Cup and for many teams go to the overseas camps they doing.
https://www.uefa.com/under19/draws/ Draw done for the elite round. Türkiye (Turkey), Iceland, Hungary Does anyone know the under 17’s Euro’s is 16 teams but the under 19 is still only 8 teams?
Hungary qualifed below Ireland. Iceland below France and Turkey won a weak group. Considering recent results with victories over Italy and Denmark you'd think this was a favourable draw.
Plus you'd like to think hosting these qualifiers would be an advantage. The 2004 team did lose 0-3 to Turkey in 2019 but of course the majority of players for both sides have changed since then. Charlie Setford, Kaide Gordon & Shoretire were all injured for the first qualifying round so hopefully they'll be available in March. Also curious whether Alfie Devine, Bynoe-Gittens & Scarlett are with this squad or stay with the 2003 lads. If anyone else is interested, UEFA published the report in November as I recall.
there's a lot of talk about Sammy Braybrooke in Leicester right now, 2 theories on the go, 1 that he will be featured a lot in the first team going forward or the more likely they are desperately trying to sort out a good loan move for him for January
no idea, had hoped to see him feature, may have been held back for the FA youth cup, also of our CMs only Dewsbury-Hall was absent so may just have not been picked
Leicester press reported he was one of four youth players training with the first team. Given he got some minutes in the last round and wasn't on the bench I think it's safe to assume that he picked up a knock.
not really we had Tielemans, Praet, Soumare starting with Mendy and Ndidi on the bench, of our senior CM options only Dewsbury-Hall wasn't in the squad and I think he was banned. Alves played in the front 3 and McAteer was covering full back, we picked a full strength team baring Maddison who was still off so he may have been simply not picked

Ben Nelson has been recalled from his loan spell at Rochdale, I expect he will go elsewhere before the end of the month
Luke Chambers to Kilmarnock on loan. Presumably to replace the injured Ben Chrisene. I really rate Chambers so will be interesting to see how he adapts to senior football.
Why? Moving from one development team to another….. Who advises these kids on what’s best for their football development?
