Bryan Reynolds was substituted off at halftime today for Westerlo following a reported collarbone fracture. #USMNT defender was enjoying a positive loan spell in Belgium from AS Roma. Reynolds had 1 goal, 3 assists in 17 combined apps this season.

 

Damn. Too bad. Seems like he was having a solid season. Hopefully he can get back quickly. For reference, I think Dike was out for 4 weeks after he broke his collarbone.

 

Sorry, I was traveling yesterday. I did notice that he was subbed out at the half. When you are up 1-0 it does not make sense to pull a starting defender. I hope that he can heal quickly. He was having a very solid season.

So he's shown himself to be consistent at this level then?

 

Yes. He does a good job of getting more into the attack than Mark McKenzie does. Westerlo has preformed better than expected, and Reynolds has been a big part of that defense. He is not as aggressive going forward as Fossey, but he has played well this season.

Apparently not. He's starting today against Zulte Wargerem. Hope he's actually recovered. No Griffin Yow, though.

 

Not expecting the recovery to be so quick.



I hope that he his fully healed. Shoulders are sort of important in soccer.

Seems like a high quality performance for Reynolds in a 1-1 draw with Eupen. Good defensive and passing stats. No debut for Griffin Yow, who made the bench again.
