The problem with the Rutter deal is Hoffenheim will see it as good justification/an endorsement of signing young foreign talents. He was at the club for less than 2 years only scored 11 goals and yet they still made something like a 35m profit.
they are already propping up 04 CF/Ws Mulele (Spaniard) and Mokwa (Frenchie) from U19 and BOTH came to club in Summer 2022 but club is gonna sell it as Hoff produced, LOL. This is why I was iffy about 04 CF Obiogumu's 1st prospect from day 1 while troll poster was hyping him up. Believe its the Frenchie Mokwa who is ahead of the 2. I think Wagner or Moerstedt are more realistic from German POV, more likely Moerstedt.
1BL clubs really make huge efforts to avoid their own players. -3 1BL clubs are interested in Kelvin Yeboah who is flopping in Serie B -3 1BL clubs are interested in Konrad de la Fuente who is flopping in Greece 1st division. then people expect me to believe that these clubs are NOT full of shit, LOL. Augsburg for one is going transfer crazy this Winter. speaking of overrated, Dortmund's Braaf who did NOTHING all season in 3rd Liga.....yeah.....moving to Serie A. Like nonesense how players who do nothing get offers from top 4 leagues.
Bayern are looking mediocre. The good thing is that PSG are also struggling. I wonder which team will advance.
and the trend of players going back home continues, LOL -overated to moon French 03 CF Tibidi who was on Austrian 1st loan now moving perm to Ligue 1 -overhyped as next Wirtz (LMAO), Austrian 03 AM Wydra moving to II of Austrian 1st. really shows how less and less making it in 1BL. Ones who make it mostly tend to be ones with real pro experience.
Bobic fired Unser Präsidium hat gemeinsam mit dem Aufsichtsrat des Hertha BSC e.V. einstimmig entschieden, seinen Geschäftsführer Sport, @FrediBobic1971, mit sofortiger Wirkung von seinen Aufgaben zu entbinden.https://t.co/Nh7OlgSOFY ⬅️ #HaHoHe pic.twitter.com/2aYh2akaKR— Hertha BSC (@HerthaBSC) January 28, 2023 LOL and dfb wanted him for job he's pretty bad.
At least it’s now very tight at the top, with a number of clubs close to Bayern. Much better than them running away with it, although they probably will still win it. It would be incredible if Union won the title though, with Hertha getting relegated
The Bundesliga has the distinction of being the only major European football league in which a club from the capital city has never won a league title. If Union were to break that I'd welcome it.
https://bulinews.com/news/16032/hertha-part-ways-bobic-after-derby-defeat Lol, and to think the DFB were considering him to replace Bierhoff.
Hudon-Odoi is such a massive flop LMAO. Was so bad midweek got yanked at HT. Cringe how for years, 1BL clubs have been pining over him. Brazzo has wanted him for years, what amazing scouting, LOL. Hudson-Odoi, Sancho, Brewster, Greenwood (RIP career) and list goes on and on has have amounted to nothing. while Frenchies Adil+Ngoumou=flops
-Oliver Burke getting dumped to Championship loan. Not surprising was never a good player. Not sure why Bremen stupid to have brought him back for 2nd 1BL go..... -Ahamada of Stuttgart already ditching to go play EPL with Crystal. That's 2nd Stuttgart Frenchie youth to bail and then they have more who are flops too
What baffled me the most about Olvier Burke was all the media frenzy around him when RB Leipzig signed him all those years ago.
Change "only major European football league" to "only major South American football league" and you have Brasilia, the capital of Brazil with zero titles aside for a single Copa Verde, a regional competition. I recall maybe in 2002 I think it was during the final between Germany and Brazil and both countries' capital had no club in 1st division. It may have been another time, but it was funny.
I remember reading that football isn't very popular in Brasilia. The most popular sport in Brasilia is basketball.
It’s an interesting fact, although difficult one to compare to other major European Leagues, as BFC Dynamo, for example, did win a number of East German Championships, most recently in 1988 prior to reunification. Was also funny how whilst Bonn was the capital of West Germany, no team from there had ever even played in the BL let alone become champions. For such a large city it's surprising how relatively little success clubs from Berlin have had, who knows maybe Union can change that.
LOL Leeds STRONG Relegation Candidates Coach=Marsch (ex Leipizg) Players ex 1BL=Koch, Rutter (Winter), Adams, Mckennie (Winter), Roca
Marsch is a pretty mediocre coach, only did well with Salzburg with a huge financial advantage in the Austrian BL. Elsewhere I see Bayern are getting Joao Cancelo and Union getting Isco. Two pretty surprising moves.
He's got four CL titles to his name (fifth one doesn't count because he didn't play at all), so I guess he'll bring some glitz and glamour to the club.
Yeah seems to be more about him being a relatively big name rather then anything he's done lately. The guy did play 353 times for Real though so it's only been more recently that he's really flopped, especially at Sevilla this season.
Hertha really are a circus lol. "... kriegst du eine gescheuert": Nach der 0:2-Pleite gegen Union platzt dem damaligen Hertha-Sportdirektor Bobic der Kragen. Einem rbb-Reporter droht er ne Schelle an, wenn er noch mal eine Frage zum Trainer stellt.
