Some might think that Zaniolo getting bugged by the fans in his home, as long as we're talking about chants and stuff, is not great, but tbh if you don't honor your contract and try to double-cross the club, then you're bound to get some heat. I'd rather think of this situaiton as a deterent for any other smart cookies in our squad, now or in the future, who don't know what a contract means in football. The club can't strong-arm you when you're down, you don't get to strong-arm the club when you're up. Simple. Let's make an example of this tool so that it'd echo thorough the ages, we've lost too many players on the cheap or free the same way in the Pallotta years, time to put that line on the sand and dare the players to cross it if they feel up to it.
