Liverpool are interested in Fenerbahce defender Attila Szalai according to Fanatik.

Liverpool stand linked with RB Leipzig’s 24-year-old Malian midfielder Amadou Haidara.
Yeah, let's buy the average guy from RBL! Especially as they're losing their better CM this summer to Bayern, I'm sure they'll sell Haidara for peanuts!

Barcelona star Gavi could leave the club on a free transfer, which is news that will put Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on red alert.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has said that Juventus winger Federico Chiesa would be open to a switch to Liverpool.

Jürgen Klopp is interested in Mason Mount, the England international who is stalling in contract negotiations with Chelsea.

Bolton and Liverpool have called time on Owen Beck's stay at the University of Bolton Stadium by mutually agreeing to terminate his loan deal. This is the seventh loan the Reds have canceled as their players have struggled to make impressions at their new clubs.
Doesn't help our reputation as a developer of talent when our kids can't hold down a place at Bolton while chelsea and citeh are selling their kids to PL and other top flight clubs.

Liverpool are thought to be preparing a player-plus-cash swap for Monaco's midfielder Youssouf Fofana. The Reds are keen admirers of the Monaco no. 6 and could look to send former Monaco player Fabinho back to the Principality in part-exchange.

Empoli youngster Tomasso Baldanzi, who recently scored a winner against Inter, has stated in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that his dream is to one day be coached by Klopp.

Klopp will need to find a replacement for Firmino and a deputy, and perhaps even partner for Núñez, and one player who could fit that bill is Danish international Jonas Wind.

Liverpool look set to use UK club's new flexibility to sign South American players and move for Luciano Rodríguez, the 'new Suarez' emerging out of Uruguay.

There’s a lot of talented young no. 10’s around the world that have this problem, very few teams deploy a system that allows them to consistently succeed. I’m surprised youth coaches don’t transition more young no. 10’s into either central mids or strikers early.

I’m just snooping here for the first team to see what the opinion is regarding Bellingham. I think it’s an unrealistic target for Pool.

Late move before the window closes. It was kept under the radar, but a Chinese wunderkind, a real prospect by all accounts. Foo-kin Nowan.

Will there be a surprise move before the deadline?

    I kinda doubt it.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have spent a ludicrous £650 million. That kind of reckless spending, coupled with the absurd transfer fees is going to ruin football if nothing is done to rein them in.

SAF (As much as I hated the man) refreshed his coaching squad, had full authority and was not afraid to let go of the troublemakers and those causing a fuss. He had the financial backing and often bought players for the here and now (Van Persie as an example) and invested his energy into solving problems in front of him, giving him success. It can be argued that he left the club as a mess, but the titles say a different thing. Pep is using the same mentality. Happy to let go of those that have no future and those that cross his path. It can get volatile if powers are left unchecked but they are at the top of their professions for a reason.

Loyalty is good. After all, it's YNWA, but sometimes, on certain occasions, you have to make decisions for the greater good.

The ageing squad will not suddenly get young. We might address the midfield and then struggle somewhere else.

Maybe Pep Ljinders needs to go. We moved on from Buvac (for various reasons), and had varying levels of success. Refresh, and reenergise. Show the door to some even at a loss.

Speaking after their FA Cup exit at Brighton on Sunday, Klopp told beIN Sports: “No, no, no. Nothing will happen in this transfer window. That’s all. All good.”

The Reds late move for Marcel Sabitzer is set to be foiled as Manchester United have made a definitive move for the 28 year old.

Liverpool's move for Conor Gallagher has been dismissed by Chelsea as they do not want to do business with a rival club.

Liverpool's midfield crisis has led them to make a late move for a player they were linked with in a previous January window, Sheffield United's Sander Berge.

Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is set for a move to Barcelona, initially joining on loan with a €37m purchase option.

Liverpool target Josko Gvardiol has told his agent that he wants to move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2023, according to El Debate.

Liverpool are ready to make a firm push to sign N’Golo Kante as he nears the end of his Chelsea contract.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal could sign former Real Madrid star Isco on deadline day after a move to Union Berlin fell through.

Liverpool have been advised to seal the transfer of AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Liverpool are monitoring a possible future move for LASK winger Keito Nakamura, claims The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath.

Nat Phillips’ hopes of leaving Liverpool on transfer deadline day might have been dealt a blow after Ibrahima Konate's hamstring injury.

Modric, Witsel, Kroos, Gundogan, Gallagher, Lerma, Kante, Tielemans, Aouar.
A bunch of 32+ year olds when we desperately need youth and athletic ability? Makes sense. I'd take Tielemans or Gallagher on a free. Maybe Lerma or Aouar if it's the last day of the preseason and we've only signed one player.

Where are Liverpool on this? A really good midfielder who we have been linked to in the past is available on loan. How are we not finding these solutions?

I know someone will say Arthur Melo. But just because one desperate loan failed doesn’t mean that we can’t try again. It’s better than doing nothing.

Probably why Julian Ward is on his bike out of here. Tired of twiddling his thumbs.

Kind of crazy that it’s deadline day and this thread had slipped halfway down the page. Must mean that Liverpool’s squad is in brilliant shape and we are winning every week.

Can you imagine the conversations behind those doors?

JW - So, we've lined up three midfielder's and a right back that have shown interest in playing for LFC, and would be willing to come in the January '23 transfer window

FSG - Yeah? Interesting...we aren't sure we are going to be the owners in the next six to twelve months, so let's hold off on signings this window

JW - Uhmmm...you said that last summer and here we are, the team struggling, as we suspected it might...we really need to bring in at least one or two of these targets

FSG - Right, in a normal window, we'd agree, but this is not normal, and we'd have to sell someone in order to bring in anyone new

JW - Great, we've got an interest in Nat Phillips, who is somewhat surplus to our needs...so I'll line up a sale and look to bring in *** to help out the tired midfield

FSG - Well, maybe wait on that as NP isn't going to bring in as much as ### is going to cost

JW - so I need to work on a straight swap? money in = money out? Do you realize what this is doing to the team that nearly won it all for you last season?

FSG - Yes, we were so close last season, why can't these boys play like they did last year?

JW - Rolls eyes and twiddles thumbs...sees a call come in from Newcastle Untied...Excuse me, I've gotta take this call...

This is going to be an interesting summer if LFC doesn't sign Bellingham and Nunez or a Nunez like player.
