As a Fire fan I am selfish and want him to stay a while.

But if he continues to play like this he will not be here for too long.

Not sure if he intended to pass it, but it counts. He also did great work to set up Watford's first goal, too.

He came off around minute 60 limping. I'm hoping he was just playing it up to buy time.

    Assist.

It is interesting that he takes corners. Gives us another option other than the #10s, or Cuadrado or Muriel.

His corner delivery is wicked. Right into the danger areas.

Was a substitute against Coventry. There were two outstanding pieces of skill.

One keeping the ball inside the touchline. He brought down the ball over his head with his left leg simultaneously flicking a pass to a team mate. Outrageous skill.

Then a 25-30 yard inside pass Messi like to Kamara. Never had to break stride he squared it only for Sarr to blast it over from a yard out. I'd like to see which eighteen year olds can perform similar skills.

The pass is 3'18" in here.

The guy who shot the ball after that pass sequence reminds me of how I used to shoot.

Nice to see the Duran predictions in this thread come true!

But very worried that Yaser has dropped out of the starting lineup at Watford in recent weeks.

At his game he should be playing every week and it's very concerning to me if he is becoming a sub in the Championship...

Yeah...I'd hoped he would earn that kind of a move with solid play this year. Maybe a loan to Udinese?

We really need him to play.

Yeah but is Alonso going to call him to qualifiers (and would we even want him to) if he isn't playing? That's my worry.

It's a shit show at the club. New players coming in. We have a new DOF Bienvenido Ubenga from Eintracht Frankfurt (don't know how we persuaded him to come to us but anyway). The dross signed by dodgy Mogi Bayat awaiting trial in Belgium are being jettisoned.

Kone has come in and Asprilla demoted. It's a tough place for them because they are kids still expected to take on senior roles with a huge injury list. I'm concerned we are messing the kids around and are not an ideal development club like Brighton for instance but that may change.

It did not help Asprilla missing a sitter last week but then again half the team and older players like Kamara are rubbish and others like Sarr barely put in an effort.

We're still scouting Colombia in depth so expect some more signings like Hurtado to be coming up over the summer.

looking at the highlights of his games, he seems to get bullied around physically. that talent is there but I think if he wants some success in the epl he needs to put on more muscle.

Needs to get on that Porto diet! Those guys know how to beefcake up a player! Guarin, James and Falcao all put on layers of muscle there...

Didn't dress yesterday at all and doesn't appear to have a reported injury.

    Concerning...

    Catastrophic.

Why didn't they loan him somewhere then?

Colombia simply cannot afford for Yaser to be Marlos.

@Albiceleste2010 - what's your assessment on the Yaser situation? Will they loan him out this summer?

If they don't think he can play in the Championship (I struggle with how that's the conclusion given your reviews here) , will they bet on him if they ascend?

I can't understand why they wouldn't have loaned him somewhere this past window. You just can't waste these moments with an 18 year old of this potential.

I hate that he moved to the championship, its a harsh jump for a 18 year old playing wise to be. Culturally moving to England and being in the thick of a promotion fight in a league that is really physical is a difficult place to develop for a kid from the Colombian league that is still developing, and I'm surprised that Watford didn't loan him abroad or start him at Udinese.
