Question... in the MLIS, is a VAR done on every hard foul, penalty and goal like it is at Wave games? Good God it has overtaken the game so much. Both of the Wave's last two home games we had to sit and wait for the refs to watch TV to see if we could go home with a win.
I hate the MASL's VAR. Once in a while they reverse something significant, but half the time it's Ricardinho challenging whether someone's pants were tucked in. It wastes so much time and most of the time no one knows what was even being challenged. And if a challenge happens during live play sometimes they undo the last two minutes of action. MLIS has no VAR.
Saturday's game was packed like I haven't seen at any game in a long time. It wasn't the biggest crowd, but it was probably the highest capacity crowd in any indoor league this year.
Wait until they play a couple games at the Sportsplex next month. A place that small should be packed.

Not surprised given how much the IX Center changed re: parking and seating layout at the last second. Didn't seem like a great partnership.
Was the Detroit City Fieldhouse literally unavailable at ANY other time on Sunday except directly against the Super Bowl? By the way, Sportsplex was PACKED on Saturday night. I'm assuming they sold tickets right up to the fire marshal capacity for that half of the complex.
Congratulations to MLIS Champion Rapid City FC! MLIS Semifinals OMAHA RALLIES FROM 4-0 DEFICIT TO BEAT CLEVELAND 8-7, ADVANCE TO FINAL GRAND RAPIDS GETS BY HOUSTON, TO FACE OMAHA IN FINAL MLIS Championship UNDISPUTED: GRAND RAPIDS SWEEPS DIVISION WINNERS TO CLAIM FIRST MLIS CHAMPIONSHIP
MLIS2 is for people who are even less ambitious than people in MLIS and MLIS3 is for people who just can't be bothered. Both are still better than the vaporware ASL.
MLIS2 seems like a reasonable idea (competitor to MASL3 and PASL). My question is : Where are they getting MLIS3 teams from?
From what I read, it literally costs nothing to join MLIS3, so it would likely be "Whoever is off work."
Does anyone know who's in MLIS and who's in the new PASL-Pro for 23-24? There seems to be a few teams both leagues are claiming.
Isn't MLIS, brought to you by a peptide absorption outfit, down to like seven teams or something like that? They claim Austin, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, Omaha and Wichita, but I'm not sure they're all still alive? Maybe they are.
Crunch still seem to be operating. Both leagues seems to be claiming Austin, Detroit, and Wichita, IIRC.
Oooh, fighting over teams no one cares about. Maybe those teams have enough players to have teams in both leagues.
Waaaaaay back in the early IHL days, the Toledo Mercurys were so popular they played in both divisions of the league so they would have more home dates.
Checked the teams page on the MLIS site. Looks like Brew City United and the proposed Detroit replacement team for the Waza are out. Down to six teams for the moment.
I know it has been mentioned before, but I'm surprised MLIS doesn't get sued by the Utica Comets (who own UCFC of MASL).
I think MLIS fits in the "too small to be worth suing" category. Especially when there's a semi-plausible lack of intention defense.
