    And so the Rückrunde begins!

We're up against Bayer Leverkusen, whom I personally want us to beat for a very simple reason: Xabi Alonso.

    Hopefully Reus is back.
This is the team I would like to see

    Ryderson--Suele--Hunmels--Guerreiro
    Brandt--Ozcan---Dahoud---Bittens
    -------------------Bellingham------
    ---‐----------------Moukoko--------

Reus and Haller would be in the line up but probably not fit to start.

Bayern are really struggling. If we can win tomorrow and that's a big if we will close the gap to just 3 points. Knauff played left wing back and looked solid and good. He has to be our long term option at right back.

He is a long term option in Terzić's book.

That's what I like the most about Terzić. He's one of the few BL coaches actively integrating youth academy products into the senior team.

I like this lineup! Bellingham pressing with 2 defensive midfielders behind him + the buildup that Dahoud can provide! Our most in form players.

Bayern lost 6 points in the last 3 games! If not us, then I hope someone in the BL takes advantage.

Yes we need to be doing this more. Surely there must be few academy players called kf adding something to the squad. It's about trusting them with game time.

Well it looks like Dahoud is out for tomorrow. I hope it's a precaution and not some kind of drama or new injury.

That's annoying, we need him back as soon as possible.

    Expected formation according to Kicker:
    Kobel
    Wolf Süle Schlotterbeck Ryerson
    Can Özcan
    Adeyemi Brandt Bellingham
    Haller

Looks a bit defensive minded, maybe a 4-3-3, but to a degree understandable given that it's Leverkusen and we were lucky to win our home game against them. I hope it's neither Brandt or Bellingham on the wings as they'd be wasted there.

I expect a tough goal less good defensive half. Then we press and win 2-0. Too much to ask ?

I'm not okay with going too defensive though. We can score against them and went more defensive instead

Great play by Brandt and very intelligent and unselfish player from Haller to dummy the ball. Then Adeyemi gets his first goal.

Our midfield still needs. Lot of work, but we are far more solid like ths.

It's been a very professional disciplined and hard working performance. All the players have really fought and worked hard.

Good win against an in-form team whose pacy players had been a serious problem for many teams. Our lineup was clearly a reaction to their speed with players who are agile and fast themselves and who work hard on both sides of the field. Other players who didn't fit that like Guerreiro had to be benched for that.

Our line up also had players that work hard and fight for the team.

The only changes I would want would be Gittens for Adeyemi sometimes, Dahoud for Can or Ozcan and then Reus in.

Having Haller gives us the added option to hit it long to avoid a press.
