Utrecht is one of the better clubs in Holland, so his ceiling might be fairly high.

    Dutch interview (behind paywall):

    https://www.vi.nl/pro/overig/taylor-booth-je-kunt-niet-groot-genoeg-dromen

Some highlights from someone who read it:

    @DanielSmith1022

    What I can gather:
-Erik ten Hag had a convo with Booth's agent about how he's doing at Utrecht.
-A "Heraclied" recommended the Eredivisie (was it Luca?)
-He's a fan favorite and the fans like shouting "Booooooth"
-Says "The '26 World Cup will be special & I want to be there".

Looks like Booth had a steal / hockey assist for the only goal of the match so far.

    No. It is not...

    (in Holland.)

Booth earns a YC in a nice move that has Utrecht leapfrogging 'veen again to 7th after the Frysk team lost this round.

The Eredivisie battle between two Yank 10s. Interesting matchup.

EDIT... Google has Booth playing on the right side rather than at the 10 position... but he is wearing #10 so I am sticking with my headline :)

Booth looking like the best player on the field. Involved in all 3 goals so far. Announcers gushing over him in this first half.

Outstanding performance for Booth. Has to be a lock for the March camp at this rate.

That's a perfect ball he played. Gotta be just right, and he nailed it.

That announcer has to be Booth's dad or college roommate or something... he was like a personal PR machine. That said, Booth - and Djordie - both looked really good today, especially Taylor.

  18. When the midfields of both clubs give a tremendous performance, it's quite impossible for defenders to keep up, especially when the match is played with the intensity and speed like this one. The turn overs were so fast, you can't keep up with it.

There was a lot spunky play too. Klaiber and Booth were both playing "cheeky" to use an annoying Britishism, that actually came off. Klaiber had a back-heel in midfield on the right that just popped out perfectly to a player in loads of open space. Booth's curling cross for the goal was hit perfectly... a lot of good touches today going both ways.

I am pretty sure Booth was involved in all 4 goals scored. He was flat out sic today. The assist was picture perfect but he was also so good in tight spaces and his long balls and touch passing was very impressive. What a performance.... and what a game.

They played him as a RB. They let a good player go.

  23. They didnot let him go. They were pissed he chose to go to the Eredivisie.
