let's be clear 5 98 CFs in 1BL is HUGE #s. Even the last good CF age group 88 only had 4 in 1BL and 1/4 Terodde went back and forth between 1BL and 2BL, as he's 2BL King. but just imagine if from batch of Serra, Eggestein, Ache, Lauberbach, Daferner if all make it higher that's 10 CFs from 1 age group, LMAO. I doubt will happen though. But even if only 2-3 make it that's still a 7-8 CFs from same age group in 1BL. Those are still HUGE #s. if by miracle, all 5 make it, my guess is some will only be CF matchday squad depth aka bench option. nothing wrong with that still important. hardest thing for CF is to breakthrough 1BL XI perm as too many only play 1 uptop and tough competition. the 1st criteria for Senior NT CF pool is all players who are XI in 1BL and then you go from there and start looking at others factors to reduce even more options.

interesting to see 2 ex dfb YNT CFs picking it up in 3rd Liga -98 CF Engelhardt was always better than 3rd Liga but injury proness have delayed massively his career. Last season killed it in RL with 19 goals and 14 assists in 34 games now this season in 3rd Liga 10 goals and 4 assists in 18 games. seems likely to jump to 2BL-1st Abroad in Summer and will add another 98-99 CF in 1BL-2BL-1st Abroad level -99 CF Meissner (on loan from 2BL), scored his 6th of season, on track for double digits. Not sure why he was loaned out when its clear he's 2BL level MIN. its interesting to see that 2BL is HOME of 99 CFs too. I think if Telalovic who made his 1BL debut with Gladbach this season leaves will likely also end up in that level.
