Everything they do is for performative outrage. They are solely looking for ways to make a theatrical display of outrage (remember when Matt Gaetz got outraged because he so dearly loved his non-white son, even though he isn't a father?). If he thought that was such an important and relevant question, then he would ask Republican nominees the same thing.
The thing is, once you start playing along, you're kind of obligated to keep playing along. Senator Kennedy asks you what Article II is - you answer it - he then leads to another question and a few questions later he's asking you if Biden's executive orders are constitutional so he can get a soundbite to go viral. If you answered the first question, there isn't a good opportunity to go, hey Senator, ******** off, I'm not answering your dumbass questions any more. You need to cut him off at the first opportunity so you don't find yourself in the position of watching talking heads on Fox News arguing if you're evil or just dumb.
Interesting the Senator's questions are being used in a racial attack on the Judge - painting her as a "diversity judge". Yet as Tom correctly pointed out, these silly questions have no relevance to the judges role. Instead people just decide this is VERY IMPORTANT in their highly unqualified opinion. if you are buying into the BTL youtube comments world view, you need to consider lower your levels of fascism

I gently reminded him of the term's anti-Semitic connections but think he's already too far down that rabbit-hole.
