Wolves and Bournemouth are crap and are surely going down. That leaves one of West Ham, Everton, and Southampton to fall down with them. McKennie is the insurance policy that Leeds won't be part of that conversation. If he gives them 2 more points than otherwise, he's worth it.
Marsch is going for a MAA take on MMA. With Mckennie and Dams knocking guys out maybe Aaronson can become more attack minded like you guys want him to.
at least I’ve gone from mild skeptic to full cult of Wes. I call it a bargain, the best they ever had.
Hahaha haha I love watching the perineal Weston haters slunk back into their caves when he lives up to the situation. I don’t get why he has such a loyal band of haters. Sadists?
The above was about assuming Marsch stays with Leeds if they avoid relegation. @MarioKempes do you mean that A) Leeds owners will get rid of Marsch; or B) Marsch willingly leaves Leeds after securing a second consecutive year of EPL footie It may be that Leeds have to outscore their defensive woes, and I think they (now) just might have the midfield/attack that can produce goals on the regular.
With the money Leeds has spent so far, Marsch may have to do a little more than simply avoid relegation. I don't know how short his leash is.
What is the definition of "phenomenal" in the Leeds context? 5 goals? a sudden increase in Leeds g/game? big drop in goals against? gradual gain in points across the remaining season? All the above?
So there are reports that they are obligated to buy for 30M pounds if they stay up and Wes makes 10 appearances.
As I suggested earlier. If they don't stay up Wes is sold in the Summer by Juve. Wes gets to showcase his talent in the EPL if Leeds fails he and Juve will have lots of good choices.
He’ll step onto the Magic Bus exclaiming, “I’m Free” and will soon find himself live at Leeds with Tattoo and all. We all hope he isn’t a Substitute ´cause if he is, I Can’t Explain. etc., etc
Building a better team by choosing the right young players is a credit to Orta AND Marsch. These two will be working together on that. And I disagree with those who say that after 29 years out of the PL they have a right to expect a sharp rise because they were historically a big club. It takes time to effect change, especially with young players. They have played better than their xG and results, and they finally have some decent finishers. Leeds fans miss that in their “now there are no excuses” mantra. But I expect the owners understand this. Being non-local is a plus in this case.
Twitter says that Wes was at today's Juve game, in the stands, taking pictures with people and giving autographs. Juventus is down 2-0 at the half.
