I don’t see Samp getting out of the relegation zone. I’m not sure sending Zanoli there is a good move even if he gets the playing time.

Allegri and Spalletti played mind games before the game. Last season, Spalletti would have something like, "this is our chance to be immortal" and heap pressure on the players. This season he says Juventus only cares about winning, but Napoli has heart and soul, and has a legacy to play beatifully. The focus was on playing well, not to win at all costs. It was big gamble and it paid off with a big win.

It would havd been nice if Zanoli stuck around, but we need the experience in case DiLo got hurt. It's a great time to be a Napoli player.

Unless they can present new evidence, I don't see how this will hurt us

When you loan a player out, you want to make sure they are in a good team, with a good coach and a good project. Too many players in Italy are loaned out to teams without any forward thinking and they basically get stuck in their development.

Zielinski, Lozano, and Politano all have their contracts expiring in 2024.

I'd like to see us renew Zielinski and move Lozano & Politano on.

Sell Lozano now if a decent offer is made. I'd want to keep Politano if he's willing to accept a more secondary role. If he wants to play under Gattuso at Valencia or elsewhere and try to become something more, so be it, but not a rival. We should make every effort to sign Chiesa to fix our RW.

Ziely is a keeper, but there is a lot of talent out there in that position. Finding a replacement for him is very possible.

Finding a replacement for Osimhen is a lot harder, so I can understand why they're bumping up his pay. But teams are desperate for a player like him and will offer big sums of money to sign him. Scamacca would probably be our main alternative if he were to leave. More reason to sign Chiesa.

Zanoli is too green. We needed a quality backup to DiLo and that Pole at Samp was the best solution. Although it would be have been good if Zanoli stayed because this is a time for him and all the Napoli players to savor something special, alas they needed a player there to replace the Pole and that miser ADL doesn't hand out any free rides.

Lozano is definitely someone we can sell to a Prem team for a decent fee. I would also sell Politano but I doubt that we sell both of them in one window. Chiesa is fantacalcio. He would cost too much and he is not the type of profile we buy. This team likes young and relatively unknowns so they can flip them. The same for Scamacca. West Ham paid a pretty penny for him and I doubt they want to make capital loss.

So keep Politano and find a cheaper Lozano. If Osi is sold, do we look for a player with a different profile and try to play differently? Maybe a system that allows Raspadori and Simeone to feature more regularly?

Honestly, I haven't followed anything outside of Italy so I don't know of any up and coming CF's that could replace Osi. In Italy there is no one. I would do my best with Simeone and Rasp and spend the money reinforcing other areas. Lookman looks like a dynamo that would fit us perfectly.

Moussa Dembele at OL. A little older. Folarin Balogun at Stade Reims, still young but you'd have to deal with Arsenal when his loan ends. Levi Garcia at AEK. Jackson Muleka at Besiktas. Any of them should be easily obtainable with the kind of money that would come back from Osi.

I don't know that any of them are 1:1, but players are out there, and with 50-150m to flash, that's a lot of persuasion especially for teams in that Europa League and lower tier.

I think players that will likely be sold in summer are

    1. Osimhen (150M) - I think he wants 10am a season or will leave. I think we will rely on Raspadori and Simeone.

2 and 3. Lozano with one year on his contract and Politano who already wanted to leave last summer. We are linked with Adama Traore but losing Osimhen we better get two quality players. Maybe Deulofeu if he gets fit

    4. Zielinski who will only be given a new contract if he significantly reduces salary. We have Elmas who can play as Kvara back snd in that position and we may get Samardic from Udinese. My preference is keeping him

    5. Ndombele we will only get if Tottenham reduces price

    6. Demme will leave and we have Gaetano

    7. Rumors of Becao coming for Jesus

    8. Meret could be sold to Tottenham for 30 million and Gollini would take his place

I'm definitely in favour of going after Adama Traore for the RW position. It's the type of project we should be taking on, if Luciano can get through to him like he has with Anguisa and Ndombele, this can be a huge hit for us.

Looks like Azzedine Ounahi landed with OM after all. Some of my friends in Marseille will doubtless be pleased.

La Repubblica has a paywall, so I don't have a link to the original story (if it is on the website at all), but everyone else is taking the same quote from them reporting Napoli's intent to extend Kvara's contract after the season.

    https://www.areanapoli.it/rassegna-...novo-di-contratto-con-adeguamento_491351.html

According to Transfermarkt his current contract runs through June 2027 already, so this is really just about giving him a pay bump for contributions instead of locking him up.

I think Kvara will remain at Napoli for some years. But Osimhen is pretty much gone this summer

It's looking like Folarin Balogun will probably be available this summer...

    Just saying.

ADL says Osi won't be sold this summer. I think he will.

I'd run it back with this squad bar Lozano and maybe Politano.

We still have to pay for Simeone and Raspadori. Not sure we're going to have as much to spend as we would've hoped unless we make it very deep in the UCL.

I think Osimhen is gone unless we make it to the SF's and ADL offers him a huge contract to tie him down until 2028 with Kvara.

Disagree. We have a lot of money. We will also be paid for a few players this year like Petagna.

ADL won’t sell Osimhen unless for a crazy price.

I think we have a strong squad. Lozano is starting to look good. But he will leave given his salary and short contract. Politano is a disaster. So priority is right wing.

I would also not mind a back up for Lobotka and a young center back.

If Meret leaves we get Vicario who for me is better.

There are clubs out there willing to pay an outrageous fee for Osi.
