I didn't realize Agustin Zalazar followed Almeyda to AEK..... Maybe he speaks Greek too? AGUSTIN ZALAZAR < | AEK F.C. Official Web Site He also brought Omar Zarif, Guido Bonnini, and Daniel Vega along for the ride.... COACHING STAFF
1 point behind league leaders, Panathinaikos, Matias has been great for AEK, as he was for Chivas. What a missed opportunity here.
it was a mistake to put a new coach (he was brand new to MLS in 2019) in a position of having too much input into signings right off the bat, should be the GM's responsibility. I hope we're not seeing that same pattern repeat itself with our new coach. Luchi of course isn't brand new to MLS so I suppose we could expect better from any FoL's like say maybe our (possibly) new Ecuadorian player.
A lot of beer bellies out there (Almeyda not one of them) - but they seem to be quite serious about it.
The match was played at Luna Park, Buenos Aires in December 22, 2006. MARADONA-Showbol Argentina 7 Brasil 7
They need to learn to use the wall. Makes me miss my old Grizzlies tickets; Troy Dyak was fun to watch indoor.
It looks like the game was played I believe with old MISL or CISL type rules. Normally though , the foreign traditional indoor leagues or the Futsal are usually played on smaller fields and don’t have permanent walls or boards, I am not sure but I don’t think they play their salon futbol using the walls or boards so they probably weren't used to it.
Nah couldn't be. Didn't we get a mathematical proof that Matias Almeyda was a complete fraud who could only possibly do well in a single elimination tournament before other coaches figure him out? Getting stuck with the worst defense in the league didn't have anything to do with it. /s
Almeyda's gone. You folks remind me of the dead-enders down south still fighting "the war of northern aggression"...
Alguna vez se penso que Almyeda era un entrenador estrella en ascenso, pero San Jose lo ha expuesto como un fraude. Por que seguimos debatiendo con Almeyda? Joder Almyeda
