The producers are putting in twists so season 2 is even more awesome than season 1.

I am, under no circumstances, not paying attention to any polls for the time being. Or anyone acting all sage like about things. After the last election, with things such as "RED WAVE!!!" over and over, it's obvious that past isn't prologue.

Also, we're a year out. Like way too early.

Poll aside, my skepticism about DeSantis will exist as long as he remains DeSantis.

Oh, and DeSantis ain't going to do much in a straight up fight. I've said it before, around Biden, who has true strength: He looked like a child next to him. A flat out bully like Trump? Ha!

If Tr*mp makes it to 2024 and actually mounts a campaign, I imagine the preferred VP would by Noem.

Noem is a far more palatable candidate than Greene (and calling Noem 'palatable' is really difficult).
    Noem has actual experience.
The Republican Party as a whole would be more in favor of Noem, I imagine.

And, the only thing that would matter to Tr*mp:
Noem would not steal the spotlight from Trump nearly as much as Noem would.

Oh, and Noem suggested putting Tr*mp on Mount Rushmore and even had one made and gave it to him in 2020 (yes, this is real).
That is the sort of crap that he remembers.

Greene would. Too late (by one minute) to edit my post.
    Thx

Also, the Marjorie Taylor Greene as VP is also an article in The Nation today. I haven't read it yet.

    Boo, you're no fun. :p

Apart from that, I've come around to your position on Ronda. But Trump is faltering and the 80% don't seem to want him around. And with Ronda being poor in-person, I'm thinking the door is open for Noem - the cow turd from South Dakota.

Sure for somebody who was completely dense, could not read the context in which I was writing, and did not know a single thing about Marjorie Taylor Greene and her hogging the spotlight.

Other than that, sure be confused.

Skeptical about either. GOP had an easy chance to ditch Trump, they didn't. And as long as the GOP keeps extreme positions on things like abortion or touching Social Security and such (Something even Trump was smart enough to understand was a bad idea), they're going to be in the wilderness for ages.

And Noem doesn't have DeSantis's hype so to say.

Noem is objectively an extremely attractive woman, much better looking than MTG. Look at most of Trump’s female appointees, and you’ll realize that really matters. OTOH, Trump loves people who worship him, and that’s what MTG is angling for.

Maybe choosing between the two of them will break Trump’s brain.

My wondering is how savvy she is as a politician. Is she biding her time and nick away at Desanits and wait for Trump to trip? Or is she not that good?

It's difficult to see what MTG brings to the Trump ticket - Trump is strongest on the cray cray front, and weakest on the 'normie' front

Having a presentable fascist by his side adds more than MTG - IMO

But Russian missiles will only need hand power tools to be able to break into the dome.

No, the movie was about isolating Springfield, since the city and its surroundings became a toxic wasteland, thanks in big part to Homer.

Relevant, but Michigan just passed a bill to move its presidential primary date, and honestly, I'm all for it. I know people like to knock Michigan but it has one of the largest populations in the country, has a major city, and a more diverse population than say New Hampshire or Iowa. And the whole Iowa thing was just a trick used by McGovern back in the 70s to drum up coverage.

Of course, MI GOP is complaining but that's the MI GOP in a nutshell.
