With just 3 points, Tangers FC were on the bye week. Liverpool pair, Robertson and Elliott, had three assists. Also, with just 3 points is Bigger Boat. They took on Morning Glory. Just an Akanji assist for the Boaters. Almost enough for a draw as Morning Glory leaves Ivan Toney's brace on the first spot on the bench. Luckily for Morning Glory they had not one but two assists on the pitch, Elliott and Captain Fernandes. Fernandes with his second assist this year to go with the two goals sixteen matches. Round of 20 - Group A After the World Cup break, we kick off our second half of the Round of 20. Hard to believe my eyes to see Borussia DaMarcus at the bottom of the table. They start GW 17 with a bye where they waste four goals and three assists and then got to take on ColdDogSoup FC in GW 18 who just had a Nunez assists and a PK miss from the usually reliable Mitrović. Ødegaard and Haaland snuffed out that fire to give Borussia Dortmund their first points. ColdDogSoup FC fared much better in GW 17 with Salah with a goal and assist and Mitrović outshining that with a goal and two assists. Eriksen rounded out the scoring with an assist as well. Soccer Steve had goals from Van Dijk and Toney but that was all. That just about puts ColdDogSoup FC into the Round of 16. Soccer Steve on the otherhand is the one in striking distance for Borussia DaMarcus to overtake. In GW 18 Soccer Steve has a goal and two assists from the combined play of Toney and Andreas but that was against group leaders Kopite Juniors. Kopite was another one with the Mitrović PK miss that gameweek along with a blanking Salah. Just an assist from Che Adams was all there was. That give Soccer Steve 3 points to keep a 4 point lead ahead of Borussia Damarcus. Kopite in GW 17 got to play Glorydaze just before their GW 18 Gold Medal outing. For Kopite it was an identical outing as ColdDogSoup FC with Salah with a goal and assist and Mitrović outshining that with a goal and two assists. The assist this time comes from Guimarães. Round of 20 - Group B Starting the second half of the Round of 20 for Group B there is just 5 points separating the top and bottom of the table. At the bottom FC St. Pauli and Aviators each with 4 points battled it out in GW 17. Avaiators had 4 of 5 midfielders hit. The exception was Captain De Bruyne. A goal and three assists from Saka, Bowen, Xhaka and Eriksen. Up front Martial and Watkins had a goal and assist respectively. FC St.Pauli just about matched it. Kane and Wood with goals up front but only a goal and two assists from the midfield as Antony and Foden couldn't keep pace with Ward-Prowse, Sterling and Guimarães. Three points for Aviators. Next Aviators took on Sasha Juniors in GW 18. Sasha Juniors had a bye week for GW 17 with just 4 goals. It could have been a win for Aviators that gameweek. For GW 18, Aviators again had De Bruyne blank. Only Saka got on the scoreboard while Watkins was left in the middle of the bench with an assist. Sasha Juniors had three goals and two assists to take the points from this one. FC St. Pauli looking to get some points had to take on FC Epikoinis in GW 18. The Javelinas manage the draw with goals from Højbjerg and Ward-Prowse and an assist from Bowen. Next up in GW 18, The Javelinas had REVEALED: Starboy XI to get past. Ward-Prowse again had the goal and Alexander-Arnold had an assist. Another draw as REVEALED: Starboy XI get goals from Stering and Nketiah. That makes 10 points the maximum The Javelinas can achieve in the Round of 20. 11 and above means you are in the Round of 16. First to try to get over the bar is Lokomotiv Lewisham starting with 8 points. Just needs a win. For GW 17 they were on a bye. For GW 18, they get a goal and four assists. Glorydaze edges past with Mitoma with a goal and Andreas and Perišić with assists. That puts Glorydaze into 3rd as Soccer Steve was on a bye. Round of 20 - Group D Going into the final two game weeks of the Round of 20, Group D has two teams with 10 point and three teams with 9 points. This is the tightest race ever. The two teams with Magical Mahrez got the wins. First there was BiggerBoat with Mahrez, Rashford and Havertz narrowly getting past Game of Ohhs who get a brace from Nottingham Forest's Johnson, a goal from Captain Mitoma and an assist from Gray. Then, Tangers FC also with Magical Mahrez, had him captained. Bring in Mahrez and Bailey, three goals and two assists later is just barely enough to get past their opponent Morning Glory. Round of 20 - Group D Final gameweek for the Round of 20 and Group D had three teams vying for the final two places for the Round of 16. Two of those three teams were matched up for a great finale. That was Game of Ohhs against Stormin Gunners. Stormin Gunners had a great result against ManU with a Saka goal. Nothing else though as Martinelli and Almirón have hit cold streaks. GameofOhhs with the brilliant early transfer Mitoma right at the end of the World Cup get another goal from the Japanese international and an assist from the domestic Johnson to get the three points and into the Round of 16. Stormin Gunners can make it into the Round of 16 with a negative result from Morning Glory. Morning Glory were up against BiggerBoat who tranferred in Nketiah for Bamford back in GW 17 with terrific results. Round of 20 - Group B Jumping to another Group with teams left to qualify to the Round of 16 we arrive at Group B. Aviators and FC St. Pauli are those two. For the final game week Aviators took on Top Shelf as FC St. Pauli took on Sasha Juniors. Their opponents being the two Haalands with the hat tricks it will be a difficult climb as FC St. Pauli needs a win with an Aviators loss. It ends pretty fast as FC St. Pauli only manages a Kane goal. Aviators fared better with goals from Saka and Watkins with a Kevin De Bruyne assist. That just tied Haaland.
