If Ceballos keeps playing like this, they will have to extend him.

He works quite well as the 5th or 6th midfielder. I always said he could be the Nacho of the midfield if he could keep his head screwed on right. He is starting to realize that he doesn't need to play over top and be a game changer, he just need to provide consistent steady play.

Even if Bellingham arrives, and both Modric/Kroos return, I would extend Ceballos. I don't want to be spending ridiculous sums for squad players when both Modric/Kroos leave the season after.

On another note, the way Garnacho is reacting to everything Real Madrid these days on twitter.... the guy is definitely try to force a free transfer to here. Does he understand he would just end up Vini's backup?

Yet again in an important match Rodrygo saves our ass. I don't know what this kid needs to do to get more respect and be a starter, but if eventually he goes, we deserve it.

Hasn’t shown consistency to be a starter, but the talent is there and it’s a matter of time and patience before he explodes.

Methinks it isn't 100% Carlo's call to play both Modric and Kroos. No way Carlo can't see that Kroos doesn't fit the DM role especially with Modric on the pitch at the same time.

Both Rodrygo and Asensio have excelled recently in what seems to be a new role. They play far more centrally and we’re overloading the left side, leaning into the right being dead.

Atletico’s coach, players and their fans are all cockroaches. Fcuk them into eternity.

Rodrygo’s goal is why I still spend my precious time watching football. I love my Madrid.

Goals like that are what I mean when I say Rodrygo's ceiling is higher than anyone else's. Absolutely outrageous even before you consider the opponent/scenario/the other crazy stuff he's done in spots. Just needs some more consistency.

That goal was pure filth..watched it at least 50 times..

Kid's a superstar in the making, he might usurp Vini..I just think he needs to build his stamina and bulk up, imo these are major contributors to the "inconsistency" is his performances.

He's either awe inspiring or a ghost.

Truly disgraceful club with a manger who has nurtured toxicity for over a decade. I’ve run out of nasty words to describe them and their fans.

As nacho has gotten more games he has started to look better. Keep him there for big games. If we don’t capitalize on Dani Ceballos’ great form we are idiots. How can we keep Camavinga out of the lineup. Especially with the two old masters seemingly on their last legs but I hesitate because last year around this time we were saying very similar things about them. Hot take…… Federico needs to take a break. Whether it’s his family issue or injury, something is off with him. Alas the games are coming in every 3 days. Can’t have anyone rest with all the injuries.

Just cause he’s a footballer he isn’t allowed to watch one of the biggest derbies in world football?

Do that sort of thing as a starter consistently when given the chance.

Right now he's like what Guti was, better when used sparingly.

Get outta here with that. We've been down this road before. I won't be fooled. He can go watch AlNassr against AlHilal for all I care. Don't mention him in relation to Real Madrid, that's all.

He was probably very disappointed with the result.

One day people will accept that the problem isn't the individual fanbases, it's the country upon which the football is being played unfortunately.

The Vinicius topic has kind of become a point where people defend the abuse behind a "its abuse, but we're not racists, we just don't like him as a person" type deal.

    Who hasn't accepted this?

One day people should accept if you want yo change bad culture you don't sit there and accept it then tell people to look the other way. You make an example and resist it.

Expecting a sports club to change the culture of a country is a pretty tall task, especially when a large part of the country dislikes it.

I came home from work to change to go to the gym and we were down 1-0

We scored 3 goals while I changed and drank my pre workout and then I left happy to crush my work out

yes. Yesterday was a good day

It's called a start and taking a stand. There are examples in history of sporting organizations and figures doing so and causing some kind of positive effect.

We aren't talking about hatred for your own people so of course you can't possibly understand.
